Rebar, Debris, Dust & Grime - Let's Finish This Mad Max T-55
Вставка
- Опубліковано 16 вер 2024
- Ma frens, it's time to give this Tamiya T-55 in 1/48th scale a proper lived-in look. And by proper, I mean debris from the urban environments these tanks operate in, which goes hand in hand with dust and sand.
Fun fact of this build: painting and weathering the tracks and wheels glued together is a galaxy brain move, it's very fast and fun!

If this doesn't have a tanker with a busted leg some where in the diorama then we riot!!
why isn't this voted up to the top
Brilliant! I wouldn't mind if said tanker looked very much like a certain uncle we know....
Finally Friday Again! Time for modelling School
Yeah
Hey 👋
How‘s u going? Your broken legs ok?
I love your Videos 👍🏻 i‘m a scale modeller from germany, build sone military stuff top…
Your techniques are awesome 😍 i really have a lot of questions about it… could you do some videos for beginners? Mean weathering tecs?
Thanks a lot and glue on ✌🏻
So glad your back! Can't wait to see the diorama base your going to do for this one!
I'll get to it once I'm healed and cast free :)
So glad you are back.I hope you feel better every day. All is getting better in modeling land. May God bless.
I don't make models. I don't like tanks. But I love watching your channel, you're a genuinely talented and funny guy and a pleasure to watch.
You're my great Friend I share my lonely free time with 😊
You really are the best painter of models i´ve seen.
Uncle Mojo, don’t give-up, you’re the best!
Best thing to wake up to! Time to get my favorite cup of coffee, and chill on the couch😁
Nice to see you got your mojo back and that you’re back on the mend.
I'm not a modeler at all, but somehow i'm still njoing your videos again and again.
Glad you are getting better. Modeling life can return to normal. God bless
good that you are well again. and good that your joyfully calming weekend videos are back too
Now my Friday night is complete. The T-55 looks fantastic...I'm looking forward to the next one.
Thanking us for the patience? Uncle, thank you for the commitment to edit and post regardless of being "down". Take care and fix that leg - the single-trails (and rock gardens) are waiting :)
Get well soon, amazing work!
That's an awesome finish!! Feel better soon. If you're taking prescription pain meds-be careful-they can bind you up.
One of the best, if not the best, ways to relax after a very busy week.
Thank you uncle night shift.
Hey, I recognize those eyes...
@@johnboy384 hey finally another comrade!

A true man of culture!
Officially friday: Back from work, feet on the couch and new Night Shift video is up
Just when you think Fridays cant get any better…..Martin uploads! Another killer project, mah friend
Thanks for soldiering on despite your injury. =)
Thank you , Uncle Martin .
Wishing you a speedy recovery uncle Nightshift! Thanks for the video!!
Hey there Uncle!
I've got an idea for you: Why not build a swiss Panzer 68? It's double profit as it's a tank you probably don't have and in the diorama you can put a few swiss mountain troops as they used till 2003 🚴♂️ BIKES.
😂
Or do it the easier way and build a Tour de France 1940 diorama with Germans on bikes :D
@@NightShiftScaleModels Well, break a leg with THAT diorama =)
@@Cainite One broken leg is more than enough for this year :D
@@NightShiftScaleModels Oh don't be a spoil sport here. Get them while it's cheap! Not that you can do anything else while still under the bat flu.
And see it this way: Add some armor panels to the wheel chair and you yourself are a tank. xD
I love how I’m working on a T-55 model and this shows up in my recommended
That, “mah friends” made me feel so good! Im doing a diorama with a 85/t34 and a German anti tank gun, do you have any tips or suggestions? Thanks!
Have Fun 🤗🤗🤗
Hey, maybe for that next model you're gonna do, you could do a burning car or something simple and cool, and make one big diorama with the tank and the car (or whatever the other model is gonna be), it would be pretty cool
Yessss do this!
Uncle? Building a CAR???
(Yes, please)
Wishing you a good recovery with your injury.
The tank looks awesome.
It's not too hard to imagine this wonderful tank as a movie miniature, excellent work!!!
Looking at the tank from behind is just making it look so badass.
I guess I'm an assman.
I can’t wait for the diorama! This looks like I could drive it off of the bench, (if I knew how to drive a T-55)
Missed this series so much!
So where´s the diorama man? This is beautiful!
Glad you are feeling better, Uncle NS!
This is one of my favourite models you've done so far. So many detail and colour layers to absorb. Looking forward to the diorama. Cheers!
I hope you feel better - thank you very much for producing videos despite the fact that you still are very handicaped - highly appreciated!!!
New friday, new satisfying video.
Get well soon
Damn it, I was building my model with a broken right hand in an elbow so I totally understand you mate :) Get well quick, cheers!
Last time I broke something it took 4 weeks to heal instead of 6. My cast broke on week 4, we went to the hospital, they did an X-ray and then cut off the remainder of the cast that I couldn't cut off myself previously. Even though that was my hand, I still healed 30% faster than I should have. If I can do it, you can do it too! Keep on healing!
Get better soon!
Thanks! I'll see pretty soon, x-ray visit on Wednesday!
@@NightShiftScaleModels Best of luck!
Take your time to heal. Don't rush your progress, what matters more is your health.
Amazing work as always mate. Get yourself fixed up first mate, no need to rush back in before you're ready.
Great job Martin. Looking forward to the next project.
Its great to see you bavk at the bench. Looking forward to the diorama, and the next tank. Cheers and speedy recovery.
Woooow amazing video!! I love the bricks and stones aded in the tank!! Thanks for the cardboard tip!! I hope that the next week project is going to be the T-95!! Thanks !!!!!
This legend BREAKS his leg and then thanks his VIEWERS for being patient.. DUDE!!!.. THANK YOU for still doing these while in a cast!!!.
Hey Night Shift, been waiting to see a new upload as soon as they are uploaded.
Another great model! I wish you a speedy recovery!
I haven't built models in 8 years, but watching the weathering part is still super enjoyable.
Looks great Martin.......nailed it!!!
Martin is still humble and is worried we are all going to leave him like the 6 1/2 at the prom dance we took and got stuck with on the first slow song. Most of us are here for better or worse because the content is always worth the wait. Uncle Nighty is a staple of conversations in many, many, modeling groups all over the globe. Whether you agree with his style or not, he has certainly made an impact within the community. A very positive one in my opinion. We all will wait for the days where he is back on his two feet again!!
Good to see that you are on the road to recovery. Really missed your videos. Hope you are fixed soon.
Man I cant believe u have under 500k subscribers, your videos are crazy good and ur dedication is inspiring. you videos are insansly addicting, I DONT EVEN DO MODEL KITS
This is such a fantastic build. I was actually looking at photos of Syrian tanks the other day and found the particular tank you referenced for this. You really nailed it!
Very nice result. I, too; really enjoy oil paints. One reason is a little esoteric. I use real turpentine to thin. I like the way that makes them work and I enjoy the way it smells. Probably makes me a little offbeat, but; I have done it that way for years. See you next week.
Simple and useful bottom left info text! Thx
Just get better. Nice work too, I enjoy the videos. Thanks
Can't wait for the next phase. All the best on a speedy recovery.
Good night, Uncle Nightshift!
Nice finish! Glad you are able to get back to work.
Oh hey, you actually added the ruble :D
I supose it's what they call "the beauty of the grotesque".
Super cool. Best modelling youtuber of those i watch.
Get well soon.
Awe man sorry about the bad news broskii. Wish you a speedy recovery
Hope you have a quick recovery. Love your work
Man I would LOVE to see you do a Zaku gunpla using your tank weathering techniques!! You’re awesome
Yeah it's Uncle (Limpy) Night Shift :) great vid Limpy!
FANTASTIC ....... MORE AND MORE .
It would be cool to see a mini series on a destroyed car for the diorama
Great work and a beautiful model.
Be healthy, you create great models!
Good to see you're continuing 😊👍
How's the leg healing?
Thanks! We'll see next week after a check-up.
Hey, Night Shift, when that cast comes off you're going to want to sit down in the bathtub and scrub your leg with a plastic dish scrubby pad. You will feel so much better once you do!
Hope you get well soon :) Now you are "battle damaged" just like the T-55 :'D Rly looking forward to the diorama !
I'd love to see you tackle one of warlord games bolt action ww2 plastic and or metal tank kits .... nothing to extensive just some guides on how to spruce up the armor models detail wise would be cool.
Awesome job, this subject is a favorite!
Simply Gorgeous!
Glad you're on the mend.
Amazing work as always too.
Since you can't do the diorama, would be nice for the next vehicle to stick with the syrian vibe and do something like a BMP or even a wreck, and do a twin vehicle diorama.
Drop in quality? Nope , fantastic build!!!!
A beauty, a bonny, a joy forever! Beautiful, my beautiful human!
Pretty wild color.
Glad you are healing
You just keep getting better and better, this is one of my favorites you have posted. And i keep forgetting this is 1/48 scale.
1/48 is the best scale :) The model is finished way before it becomes too boring.
@@NightShiftScaleModels My talent and eyesight force me to 1/35 or 1/16. But I wish I was able to build ans weather 1/48. I dont have the room to display bigger models.
Something to aspire to!
I'm primarily a ship modeler and a novice one at that so all your videos and techniques seem very daunting but I still love them every time! Thank you for being back, and please continue providing us with your friendly attitude and calming voice every Friday dear uncle!
I love model teacher man
I'm a sucker for a worn out, improvised aesthetic! I'm not really into scale models, but I've been enjoying your videos a lot, this model looks great. Might have given me some ideas for the vehicles in a scavenger/apocalyptic themed Warhammer army.
I had knee surgery and was recently laid up for 7 weeks. Spent a lot of the time making models for the first time since I was a kid. Thank you for your videos. I learned a lot and feel like the end result was way better because of your help. Thank you Night Shift.
Masterpiece! It is so much fun to watch your Videos!🤩🤩
Very nice!!!!!!!!! 👍👍👍
Sitting here and do not know what to watch... and suddenly BAM! quality entertainment! thank you :D
Awesome, my dude! Glad you're back in business. Have a Kofola on me :D
Thanks for the video. Hope you're mending well.
Glad your back! We've missed you man!
Great that You could finish it, and great You are back! Perfect done. All the best for you! ;)
Stay safe man, I love your content and hope you're doing well
like allways awesome...im doing an afrika korps dio and im happy now that i know how to start weathering my tiger 1! you are the best man;)
I really liked your technique on the lower hull where you were doing the streaked dust. Spot on, my man!
Thank you tankdaddy
One more time ... a new masterpiece !!! Well done Martin, i give you a gold medal for this T-55 !!!
That is a fantastic build. Glad you are healing and happy to have you on video again.
