I am a production engineer. I spent 15 months of my career in doing some nonsense jobs. Then I shifted to IT. Getting good amount of money. There is stress in your work. That doesn't necessarily mean you have to leave the job. And if you feel to leave, just make sure you have other alternative. Atleast IT people are getting a good pay and 2 holidays a week which is a big dream for other branch people.

I just want to say to people companies are built not to make you rich. So they are paying you for your time and skills. If you hate IT just talk with a person who is working in a core industry. Ask him his working hours, working environment, salary & growth. You will find that there is no comparison for all the things over there as you're going to get in IT. I'm not justifying working in IT but the real world is not made like this. If you feel like working for 9hrs is hell start your own business or go to mall/market and look at the shop owners for how long they are working, it will be more than 12hrs with business ups and downs & a lot of stress. But in job you will surely get salary no matter how the company performance was in that month, so without any risk you will get that amount. And if you feel that company is not performing well, you're free to change it. The salary they are paying is proportional to the risk you're taking. If you want more take more risk & start business and earn more, nobody is stopping you to do that. But eventually you will realise that what it costs to make more money in business, hell lot of stress, market competition, no revenue phase and years of turmoil which may finally turn into a profitable business (no guarantee though as the facts say 90% of business fails in the first five years of start). Our ancestors have never got this amount of comfort which we are getting. The early men used to roam jungles for hours in search of food with risk of his life from animals. There was no guarantee you will definitely get food even after searching for so many hours. And once you get it you've to repeat it again after few hours. There is no weekend kind of thing where you can rest. Slowly slowly things did changed. Our forefathers have witnessed wars. There was no sureity around that time that what you will get in a battlefield. There may be situations where you've to fight continuously without food. Just look at what challanges people faced during world wars (you think ukranians may be enjoying right now). . All I want to conclude is change your perception, have gratitude for all the things you have, many are not having jobs even, and those who're having, many are not getting the opportunity like IT to upskill and earn more. There is no job where you can get everything. You will surely have to compromise on something. And the people you're seeing on youtube who are living that kind of lavish life are very few. Most of the people will not be having that kind of life.This is how the world works. lower your desires. Be grateful. And find happiness with acceptance and meditation.
Once you attain 45 to 50 years age you have to be very cautious. Most of the folks at this age are less flexible , overwhelmed with family matters and become slow learners. As this industry moves very fast pace it becomes increasingly difficult for them to cope up. Better you should start thinking about alternatives once your cross 35.
I am working in it field, i am working 10+ hours daily, plus they said also work in night also, so i work work from home in night, plus in week i only holiday at Sunday, but they always pressurised me, for work in Sunday also, what why i am depresed, basically i have 5 to 6 months of work experience, and the only give me 10k.
I have doughnuts on your credibility. 9 Hours continue sitting is not mandatory 8 hr which is also not continue you can take breaks it totally depends on your tasks assigned, health wise definitely there are issues but that's b/c of you, you can adopt healthy life style like do regular excercise or yoga. Eat healthy food. Few important point. If you don't like coding, learning new things, solving puzzles, then it's not for you, never consider joining the software engineering field. You might go in other fields related to IT like sales, BA, networking. I worked with company like CTS , Capgemini , Accenture they don't follow this card punching system which you mentioned in your video 2. All project don't have the same pressure like you mentioned and if you are not happy you can change your project 3. Office politics happens every where it is not only about IT industry 4. 4. You mentioned that people got onsite opportunity within 3-4 years of which totally wrong . I got onsite after working 7 years

(1) firstly there are two things - software product companies and IT services company (2) there is no classification as startup or MNC that is worth discussion. (3) in so called MNC you can be a full stack developer working in frontend, backend, databases and devops (4) both software product, IT services companies could be a startup
