I am a public servant and to all the unemployed or students watching this please note this video is not for you. Under current market condition and lack of government vaccancy if you get a job whatever the salary or posting is just JOIN IT. Toxic culture of less salary is far better than staying unemployed. Once you get employed then you can decide what to do next.

I have 18 years of experience in IT and could not achieve much in professional life. Too much politics, toxic environment, as**ole managers. I advice people to go to office only for money. After office, enjoy the life as much as possible. Focus on family, don’t make friends with colleagues

Staying relevant through continuous upskilling is essential, but the reality is that while refining existing skills is feasible, mastering entirely new tools or technologies becomes increasingly challenging with age. The days of thriving on a single skill set are long gone. This creates an existential challenge, especially after 40-if not certainly by 50.

    1. Dont shun any opportunity to learn new skills while on the job.
    2. Always always talk with your manager about how your experience and decision msking skills is helping the company goals. These are your weapons which recent graduates dont have. 😇
    3. Take up initiative for mentoring role for new hire or a junior level engineer. You are not only unburdening your manager but also being an irreplaceable asset this way.

this is true. I have filed the criminal case as well as one person lost his life, Bur India law system is very bad than our organization. If someone event is getting viral then only media covers it otherwise, they also don't care of it. Business is matter in Law, Media and Organization)

It is the problem with core service based companies. If you switch wisely to product based companies, banks etc you can succeed in terms of money and also job security. I know people with 45 years still working as a Data Analyst .

Honestly, I’ve never understood the puzzled frowns and raised eyebrows when people hear ‘20 years in one company.’ The surprise, shock, and sometimes even that subtle hint of disapproval-what’s that about? It’s as if sticking around and building something over decades is an alien concept now. I guess the generation has evolved-forgotten what it means to actually commit to something. They keep saying machines will replace humans, but let’s be real: at this rate, they’ll replace themselves because they’re bored of their job, company, and life every five years. If this trend keeps up, corporate life will max out at five years. Guess someone will still have to do the work while the rest are busy hopping around finding their next ‘passion,’ right?

I started the video with interest of watching. It stopped it as soon as he introduced himself as an AVP from 20 years of experience. I am a VP by just 10 years of experience. The guy spending 20 years on genpact isn’t a great achievement for anyone. Rather he simply degraded his skill set and chose to be a sycophant to his bosses. He should be ashamed of sitting as avp in same organisation for 20 years. Missing abilities to crack better role in better organisation. This was harsh but truth.

I just want to clarify one thing: pressure is in every field. Each field has some drawbacks. If you talk about mechanical, civil or electrical lines then there is too much physical work and you have to work in shifts from Monday to Saturday in most cases. And you will get only one off in the whole week.
And compared to those fields I think IT guys are suffering less (generally). White collar job, 2 off in a week, Work from Home opportunities, more salary, and 9 to 5 timing.
I am not saying that IT guys are living in luxury but each field has its own drawbacks.
