This year, I have decided, at the age of 70, to tackle your 12 week program. Just finished Week One and I am still here to talk about it. Week 1 done! I cannot believe I have managed it! After the third day, I really needed that rest day. So, I took your stretch session - 30 min., and felt relief in my muscles and in my mind. Following your recommendations, I added 15 min. jogging after the workouts on Tuesday and Friday. Again, my mind told me, "you are not able to do it." Yet I did and felt good. My upper body muscles are more sore than lower body. Thank you, Heather, for motivating and inspiring me all year round!
To be honest workouts have become harder for me since Ive been in menopause and some days its hard to motivate myself to do anything especially when results dont come as easily now as they did even 3 years ago. Thank you for this workout regimen once again. It helps to keep me keeping on😊
It's great to be starting the year with a new 12 week program. I've done all four programs, a couple two or three times. Thank you so much, Heather, for providing us with these amazing workouts. They keep us young - 65 years young for me and stronger thanks to your programs. Very grateful.
Wow! Was that really hard for anyone else or just me?!?! Didn't realize how bad my balance was until today 😂😂. I didn't think k I would like this type but realized I really enjoyed it and needed it.
Just finished 5/5! Legs were killing me on Wednesday so I took a day of rest but got back at it Thursday. Today I did two classes to catch up. Thank you Heather for offering these programs.

I have missed you!! I worked my 12 hours shifts, had a huge grad school project due, family issues, not feeling very well… finally I am finishing up week one, and it felt so good. Thank you so much. I thought of the irony how I felt my mental health suffer while I was a nurse in a behavioral health unit and I am going to grad school to be a mental health provider- your workouts are some of the best medicine. I am so glad to get my “dose” in today. Thank you 😊

Thanks for posting a day earl. I like to start on a Sunday. With my Monday thru Thursday schedule it works better. I doubled up and got it done today. Exhausted after not sleeping well Wednesday night. What a difference a bad nights sleep makes.
I have followed HR for years now, I have always loved her workouts but have never done a series! Never felt like I could keep up (my own laziness or distractions). HR TEAM: Week 1 is ✅DONE!!! After a month of no workouts, this really tested my ability to get back on track. Feeling it the most in my legs. I didn't think I could go through with Day 3 with how sore they were feeling, but Day 4 helped ease the soreness and Day 5 felt like I was on top of the world getting through the 1st circuit. Really enjoyed the music today. ROUND OF APPLAUSE TO EVERYONE WHO PUSHED THROUGH AND GOT WEEK 1 DONE. Let's crush it team! Thank you, Heather for a spectacular week of self-care!! 💪
I was able to up my weight in the sumo squat to 25 lbs. I felt strong with each of these exercises and I love lay down push ups. Way to go team 5.0 Thank you Heather
Whew boy! So my first time doing HR12, I didn’t realize the weight recommendations were in the description. This time around, I’m clued in. Not only can I not lift 30-40 lb weights, I don’t even have them. So I stuck with the 10 (L), 15 (M), and 20 (H). I thought I was doing pretty well with my weights, but I guess I have a long way to go. Light weights notwithstanding, I’m still nice and sweaty!
Made it through the whole week after a year and a half off nursing an injury. Your leg day had me sore for 4 days. 😂 I’m happy to be back to moving, regardless of the DOMS. Thank you for organizing and offering up your gifts to us!

Thank you for another great workout! I started the program after a longer holiday break so I decided to ease into it with lighter weights and an extra rest day a week. After day one my legs were really sore! I'm happy to report that just a week in I'm already feeling so much stronger. I was ready to reach for my heaviest weights for some of today's exercises. It's amazing how quickly you can see progress when you listen to your body and take proper rest. Looking forward to 11 more weeks of feeling like a champ!

I've been doing these (and other) types of workouts for a long time and I am still finding ways to keep it challenging. Slowing down the movements, holding at the bottom or during the most difficult part of the rep, really cranks up the intensity, even though I'm using the same weights. Even doing those push ups, if you get really specific and make yourself engage everything for that perfect lift off and lower everything together (don't let those hips assist at all), wow, still really tough movement. I stand on my blocks to get more range of movement in sumo squats. The technique means I am doing fewer reps, so doing three sets is perfect. Thanks for a great program Heather!

Finished week 1 of my FIFTH 12 week program with Heather!! I've followed for over 6 years and still love her workouts. How did she know that my triceps were still sore from day 2 so started cooldown with them! :)
Good day HR community! I have done the first week, 5 days in row. Slight soreness in arms and thighs, looking forward to 2 days of rest from HR. Next week, may try rest days as you have scheduled and see if any difference. Thanks Heather for providing these free workout sessions!

I done did it. Slept in this morning but i felt amazing after sleeping in (til 6am lol) so i told myself I'd take that as a win and workout later. I'm so proud of myself for doing it later and not beating myself up for sleeping in. Week 1 done!

Thank you Heather, was wondering about which weights to use and then realised when checking if it was one or two weights for the split lunges that the text under the dumbbells has the size. For someone that's always struggled with grip strength thank you for showing that sometimes this is the first thing to go.

I found it SO tough. In the best way. But I had to pause after some leg exercises because I was so out of breath using very heavy weights! 😅

This is the first workout of yours in a long time that completed without stopping. Going slow and making sure every rep counted definitely helped!

Whoo hoo! Week 1 done! I loved this full body workout! Three sets whoop whoop! My triceps and lower body are so sore. Trouble getting in and out of the car lol! I am loving this program! See you Monday!!

Finished week 1 of my FIFTH 12 week program with Heather!! I've followed for over 6 years and still love her workouts. How did she know that my triceps were still sore from day 2 so started cooldown with them! :)
Good day HR community! I have done the first week, 5 days in row. Slight soreness in arms and thighs, looking forward to 2 days of rest from HR. Next week, may try rest days as you have scheduled and see if any difference. Thanks Heather for providing these free workout sessions!

I done did it.
Slept in this morning but i felt amazing after sleeping in (til 6am lol) so i told myself I'd take that as a win and workout later. I'm so proud of myself for doing it later and not beating myself up for sleeping in.

3 rounds is no joke! I was actually thankful for those laydown push-ups at the end. Thanks for a killer workout, HR! I will be taking a rest day tomorrow (and then cardio on Sunday!).

Thank you Heather, was wondering about which weights to use and then realised when checking if it was one or two weights for the split lunges that the text under the dumbbells has the size. For someone that's always struggled with grip strength thank you for showing that sometimes this is the first thing to go.
