Completed day 1! Found this challenge by accident literally the day it started lol. My wedding is exactly 12 weeks away and I want to feel my best mentally and physically. Not just for outer appearance, but to prove I can have self-discipline, and value myself. I've been eating well the past couple years and it has shown a difference, now I just have to add in the movement aspect. This video took me an hour with the breaks I had to take, but I feel proud to have accomplished it!😊
I've been working out with Heather for 4 years now (since HRW12-1.0), but those Globlet Squat & Pulse! My legs were shaking by the end! What a start! And it's only Sunday, January 5, here in Budapest, so - as an "official start" - I'll do it again tomorrow, January 6... 215 kCal burnt. ☺💪
Absolutely hated that....meaning it was exactly what I needed! Gotta love a workout where you're cursing through 90% of it, but then by the end you are feeling badass with every rep. 😂
I had to do a few exercises without any weight as I am just so out of shape at the moment. At first it made me feel frustrated, but now I am so happy I pushed myself. I definitely need to adapt the workout quite a bit, but I guess it's still better for my body than 40mins on Tiktok😅

Wow, when the new HR logo showed up it was fancier and it’s like “Heather is now taking this to the next level!!!!” I have worked out with Heather on and off since 2019 or maybe even 2018, before she was really popular. Boy, that was tough! out of the game for a year due to injuries and the sudden loss of 2 family members within 6 weeks of each other, so I have not been in a great place. But up popped Heather with a new 12-week program, and I thought well it's time, so here I am. Really feeling unfit so steady as we go but hopefully great results. As I am not fit I used no weights at all to do the exercises yesterday. My legs still are sore. Taking it slow this time as I want to stay in the programme/finish it and not have to give up and/or delay it like I had to previously!!! So excited to have completed day 1! I haven’t done a challenge since 1.0 due to some very necessary time off and then having a very low frustration tolerance when everything is so much harder for me than it once was. I used a 10 lb db and it felt challenging without being frustrating 💪❤️ So happy for the opportunity to modify while I get back into shape!

When I tell you I was almost crying 😅!!! This is what happens when you take a 2 week break from working out and you come back feeling stronger yet halfway I wanted to give up, but I didn’t sooo much worth it 👏🏼

This was HARD! I didn’t know if rest longer or lower the weight…shaking at the second round! Nice! I was expecting this new series! This is my fifth series! Each one has been challenging! Love the last one by the way. And also love the remodeling of the studio, it’s great my kids love it too! They miss princess Sofia, but we know she is doing great! I was so excited about this workout and can’t wait for the next twelve weeks! Today’s session was fantastic and structured in a classic strength training style. If you’re using particularly heavy weights, you’ll definitely need longer breaks between exercises. I didn’t go for my max weight but chose something a bit lighter to keep up. It was intense and sweaty, but absolutely manageable. I’m really looking forward to the upcoming workouts! Burned 200 calories.

I haven’t done a challenge since 1.0 due to some very necessary time off and then having a very low frustration tolerance when everything is so much harder for me than it once was. I used a 10 lb db and it felt challenging without being frustrating 💪❤️ So happy for the opportunity to modify while I get back into shape!

I started out with Heather 5 years ago when Covid hit and turning 60- workouts are amazing although I may modify a bit she keeps me going at almost 65 ❤

The best way to start a year. I love the HR12Week programmes. They keep me accountable and help me get my physical and mental health back on track after the holiday season. Day 1 and so looking forward to the rest of 5.0.

When I tell you I was almost crying 😅!!! This is what happens when you take a 2 week break from working out and you come back feeling stronger yet halfway I wanted to give up, but I didn’t sooo much worth it 👏🏼

I've done all your previous 12-week programs (well, haven't done 1.0 consecutively...and the final week of it always serves as a comparison after completing the other programs), so super excited to start this one! And I have to say that was quite the kick-off! That first circuit was exceptionally brutal for me, but pushed through it and happy to have it in the books! Ready to work the upper body tomorrow. Whoo hoo! This was awesome! My legs are shaking baby! I love the new studio design! I’m pumped for this 3 month challenge! After missing 9 days of working out with bronchitis/ pneumonia it was so good to be back today! I will be sore tomorrow! Thank you so much!
This was HARD! I didn’t know if rest longer or lower the weight…shaking at the second round! Nice! I was expecting this new series! This is my fifth series! Each one has been challenging! Love the last one by the way. And also love the remodeling of the studio, it’s great my kids love it too! They miss princess Sofia, but we know she is doing great! I was so excited about this workout and can’t wait for the next twelve weeks! Today’s session was fantastic and structured in a classic strength training style. If you’re using particularly heavy weights, you’ll definitely need longer breaks between exercises. I didn’t go for my max weight but chose something a bit lighter to keep up. It was intense and sweaty, but absolutely manageable. I’m really looking forward to the upcoming workouts! Burned 200 calories.
