Even though I am a parent of grown married children, I still can see issues that I am putting on my children. Also I can lose it and realize I am still bringing up unhealed wounds of not being seen or heard. So all of Dr. Shefalis work can be helpful at all ages of parents and children. what a great episode to help us, as parents, understand that in order to be present with and for our children we must pay attention to what is happening with in us during our interactions with our children weather our children are little and are struggling with bedtime or are pre-teens and are beginning to be separate from us parents.

Thank you so much for all of this content! Your work is helping me to grow into the best mother I can be, and a more conscious maternal energy I can be for other littles I meet with in my daily life. I appreciate everyone’s vulnerability and the rawness of these episodes, it is truly so illuminating! Right now I am struggling with a lot of fear and guilt about my divorce and my (5year old) child splitting time in such different environments. The videos released on this new podcast have already given me so may aha moments. I have been on a healing journey, and discovered you around the time I was taking some of Eckharts courses. I am so grateful for your content and your help, working to be a conscious parent amidst this pressure to conform with the old ways can be confusing to my sense of intuition….you often voice things I felt intuitively about my child from a young age and I felt totally crazy because I was stepping so outside of what was expected.
