Today Cabview Holland is a guest at the Gelders Narrow Gauge Museum near Heteren. After an extensive and interesting tour, we will make a return trip on the route that is located on the site of a brick factory, which you can also visit. The pulling power is provided by a 2800 kg Diema from 1957. In his early years this locomotive worked at the Purit factory in Klazienaveen. Vandaag is Cabview Holland te gast bij het Gelders Smalspoormuseum bij Heteren. Na een uitgebreide en interessante rondleiding gaan we een retourtje maken op het traject dat ligt op het terrein van een steenfabriek, welke je ook kunt bezichtigen. De trekkracht wordt verzorgd door een 2800 kg zware Diema uit 1957. Dit locje heeft in zijn jonge jaren gewerkt bij de Purit fabriek in Klazienaveen. '....and now for something completely different!' I thought it looked like a brickworks! I used to live in a place called Peterborough where there were many brickworks at one time. In fact a type of brick takes its name from Fletton, an area of Peterborough. A rather pleasant change from the usual 'mainline' journeys which are enjoyable in their own right.

Ah, the old single cylinder diesel engine..... music to my ears !!!
Used to have these engines on site dumpers, had to crank them by hand to start them !!!
Not often you see grass ballast, makes this fairly unique!!!
Been watching a channel called Elite Earthworks, he has been involved in building a narrow guage railway that will use an old diesel engine to pull converted wagons around the track, been interesting to watch how it has been built. It is called Diamond Grove, take a peek if you like Vincent!!

als het goed is is het 70CM spoor,ik heb nog 2 platte koolwagens gehad,verkocht aan een boer in Medemblik voor 750 vers gesneden grote Bloemkolen,waar gebeurd.
