Let the jollof rice slowly cook for about 30-40mins. That way, you would not have to parboil your rice and the jollof rice would turn out soft and flavorful.

Hello Sister. I wasn't going to comment on your Videos until Jollof Rice. First attempt is excellent. The more you make it the better you become. The Rosted Peppers were on point. I have recently switched to this method with Fresh Tomatoes. Once the peppers are done I blend. I don't use Purée. When I season I use Dry Dill. I tend to add the rice to the sauce early which soaks up the sauce. Tin foil is also used wrapped to the lid. The foil traps all the steam which cooks the rice. I do enjoy your content. Thank you for Nurturing all your Children. I am amazed that you're a Super Mum who looks so good, nearly 30 years with Your Husband. Blessings to you and your family.
You actually nailed that for your first attempt. The parboiling rice is kinda the Nigeraun tradition. You can instead with the stew you nade water it down with the stock and water then when it starts to boil you add yohr water. So the cups of water you add will determine the amount of rice you add. The rice type also counts. Some rice like water and some don't. But that genuinely looks good ❤❤
