They do dampen your brain terribly even though it is necessary in cases of severe depression. Barney is such a talented man specially considering none of joy division were musically trained.
I had no idea. Early New Order lyrics seemed to evolve through each live performance of a new song. The sessions with Arthur Baker which offered Confusion and Thieves like Us up must have been hard work I guess. Must have been tough with Electronic. I thought their first album was great and the collaboration with Neil Tennant was wonderful,but I would try the patience of a saint. Thanks for posting.
Dr Pfizer. Trouble is it doesn’t last long and if you mix it with alcohol you could end up in all sorts of situations. Depression is nature way of telling you there’s a problem. Why mask it? Embrace it. The harder the battle, the sweeter the victory. Break on through to the other side. There’s another world out there! Medications like this should only be used as a temporary fix if one is suicidal

Bernard is a very underrated songwriter. True Faith, Bizarre Love Triangle and 1963 are some of the greatest songs of the 80s.

Must have been strange for Johnny after being with Morrissey, who I doubt had any such problem with writing lyrics. He probably had too many.
