Our perception of music artists and celebrities are not always what they appear to be. However, it takes drive, ambition, and skill, sprinkled with some unique personality traits to pull off the kind of musical resume that Bernard has achieved. Thank you.
That "love and passion" part was my personal fave. He's so cheeky there! When he said he'd try anything once and "I'm just a good clean livin guy."😜 And what he fantasizes about...making love to a computer." Ha!!
Wow I remember this programme. I remember thinking it was outrageously futuristic to be able to talk to a computer and have a touch screen. Of course it was fake but the real thing is unremarkable now
Not unremarkable, it's pretty much the whole thing nowadays, of course computers don't have any emotions or anything like that but advancements in technology have been revolutionary
If you ever meet Hooky, ask him "just how tight is Barney?" Make sure you've got some free time though, because that could be a conversation that lasted hours, just with his multitude of examples. Hooky? He'd give you his last fiver and not care. Sumner? If you were literally dying of thirst, he'd make you sign an IOU before buying you a drink.
Hooky needs to learn the phrase "people in glass houses" he fucked the band over multiple times, forged Ian's signature, gave his pregnant wife an STI then ran off with a roadie.. Barney is simply a product of his upbringing and had an upsetting childhood so was conditioned by that.
bro's angelic 😭
frfr
I remember watching this on channel 4 one Sunday morning in 1990. Wish I could go back 32 years.
Paying for the Hacienda was basically giving his income away to charity.

Mr Sumner & Mr Gillespie. Two softly speakers, two major canners, both stunningly influential, love `em both. Shoot Speed / Kill Light, brothers!
Canners? That's a lot of Heinz beans.
He's such a flirt!
Oh god yes, on top of being a gorgeous devil

His answers to bread and butter are pure Capricorn
Cheers for this haha!! Only remembered about it just now lol
God I remember this. It was a period when I spoke in a fey Manc accent for the long hot summer that was 90? 91?

They could totally do this show again now, even reinterviewing the same artists and it would still feel fresh.
I used to enjoy watching Star Test
They fo yes he is very handsome 😍
I loved the theme music of star test. Electro-shamanic!
his answer to question 2 is weirdly relatable
how does it work? what if he gets some as a yes and some as no? he clearly told the truth for most of them...
I don't really think our Bernard is terribly truthful in this test.
Kind of begs the question why he agreed to take part.
Jason Donovan looks so young lol
Jason copied his hair do hahaha
I remember seeing an interview around this time and Jason named substance as his favourite album. So maybe theres was some influence going on.

I have a question...
When was that filmed?
1990 or 1991
@@lucasm3879 thanks

Star Test only ran until '91. This was definitely after World cup '90 as he's asked about World In Motion.
@@lucasm3879 ah okay... thanks 😅🤗
