@Lanninglongarmmowing I have a Neo-Tec NS872, clone of the Stihl 038 on video already. Have a short version out of the first start and cuts video of the Neo-Tec NSC5800. Full video of the NCS5800 is coming out soon.
I think you will like that welder. I’ve had that one for a couple years, does anything I need it to. Will be watching to see if you can set it up for the larger (and cheaper) spools.
It's an amazing welder. Glad yours works out for your needs. For almost all of the welding I do, this will do it. I may make a box out of the old welder to hold the spool fastened down to a board with the welder on it as well. Those big spools are a lot cheaper. The 4 10 lb spools only cost me like 180 bucks.
It seems like the welder has gotten weaker over time. It doesn't get as hot as it did before. The new wire is stiffer than the other one was. I bought 40 pounds of it too. Shipping to return it wouldn't be cheap so I'm kind of stuck with it.
