Great footage of the Flathead! I do like the idea of the Gazelle tent you have. RTT is great but gets old packing up every morning to explore. Since switching, do you worry about bears any more than when you were in the RTT? Thanks 👍

      Thank you!
I do worry a bit more with bears. The Gazelle has 2 doors, I usually park the Jeep so I can access from either door with little issue. I always carry bear spray and bangers. The biggest thing is I cook away from the tent and stow my food properly

Another outstanding adventure. Thanks for taking us along! I actually just got back from an overnight in the crown land in Athabasca you did in a previous video. Scouted an access point to another large chunk of crown along the shores of the river on the same trip. Cheers!

There are a lot of trails to explore up Athabasca way!
I need to get up there some more.

That mud up around Athabasca, specifically towards calling lake is something else! Sticks like no other

@@travisgbarr Where I was, there was a fair bit of mud, but surprisingly it came off pretty easy when I rinsed the truck. The area I was in was quite sandy, so that might be a factor.

Watching you tackle that tight, rocky trail was a joy! It’s clear your rig was built for adventure, and you handled it with precision.

What kills me is the government could fix these bridges once every 50 years at minimum cost!! But no that would allow people the freedom of going out to enjoy the back country!! An in my mind as well fixing the Bridges would be great for forestry management an fire fighters if needed to get back there !! But our amazing government would rather spend money on rainbow cross walks!!!!

Want to hear about a miracle? Apparently the 3rd bridge that had the heavy equipment parked and concrete barriers at was fixed about a week after I was through there. That's a good surprise.....I was expecting them to pull the bridge out.
