As someone that dose off-road recovery’s in those mountains thank you for making the right choice of NOT pushing past your limits and turning around. So manny ppl go where they shouldn’t be and get stuck putting ppls life’s and time at risk wile damaging roads for instagram photos. Stay safe and stay smart.
A few years ago my wife and I took the road from Long Barn on 108 to Cherry Lake and into Yosemite, which was quite the culture shock when we had to wait in line to get into the park. Still, it was a great adventure for us even with all the crowds. We went over Tioga pass and didn't get near the valley on that trip. Anyway, great video as usual!
Do not forget to gently roll the Asparagus {UA-cam Overland style) while you're slowly sautéing it in the pan tp perfection. Thanks for pointing that out, thought I was the only one.
Wow totally forgot that route exists. I have some old paper maps of it. I’d wanted to check it out but spaced. Thx for the reminder. Gotta check it out. Maybe next week! PS I always grill steak and asparagus.
Did this route a few years back. Read some of the historical info on the original stage roads going into the valley. It’ll deepen your appreciation for those routes. Check with the forest service before going. They advised me to bring a chainsaw since they don’t often patrol the route to clear it.
Hey man, just found your channel and I love it, was hoping to get more info on this trail and how to find it, I would love to do it next time I'm heading to Yosemite. Was also wondering what camera you use, quality is incredible!! Thanks for the awesome video!
Hi Brian. I'm a new subscriber. I'm wrapping up with my 1995 Toyota land cruiser rebuild soon. The Dancruiser project.... Beautiful outing with great scenery. Can I get the ingress point for that trail. And, do you need a permit for camping 🏕 in that portion of Yosemite. Thank you for sharing. I'm looking forward to seeing another one of your adventures. Awesome awning..... and leads for one of those. Take care. Dancruiser Dan. 😅....

Let’s fix that! Thanks for watching
I will tilt a glass of Whiskey to "Dust on your dashboard"! One of your best quotes.

Yeah it's pretty cool that it's open and accessible.

Great video as usual! That trail down into the valley ends outside of the park?! Makes sense I guess...
It goes right into the park
@losburrosoverland going to try to find it... does it drop in to the valley from the southwest?
Do you have the exact area of where it starts? Amazing drive it look like!
Good words spoke at the end.
Thank you kind sir
Next spring I will join ya. Most of your vids are all in the back yard.
Up north 5:21 around Crescent City there are wild Blackberries like that so thick in fields 100 yds long. And wild Dill 6ft tall
wow! love it
Love the video dude! Quick question, do you use any specific map for finding trails? Can't wait to see more adventures!
I use onX offroad

Hello good sir! Where did you get the bottoms for your camp stove? Can you point me in the right direction please? Great video!
I got them on amazon. Look up "Darcvds M6 Thread Furniture Feet Levelers"
Love your video BUT here in Northern California (Northeast of Chico) we call those "dirt roads" not trails
Thanks for watching!
Do you have the gpx file? Thanks for the video.
Your rig is built for the toughest of trails! I post similar off-road content if you want to see more action.
Right on. Nice XJ!
I would love to build a truck like yours. What's your average mpg with your current setup?
About 14mpg…😢
Is any of that open in mid November?
I'm not sure

Asparagus holds up the best after several days of trail abuse in the 12 volt fridge…maybe that’s why. 🤔🤔🤔
Probably so. lol
Next spring I will join ya. Most of your vids are all in the back yard.
Right on. Love it up there
