@@bladejohnson6028 should have said hi!
Were did you get the roof rack from for l322?
Thanks, after watching many videos on overlanding, this answers my question. Is deflating tires good for all type of tires in these situations ?
Happy I can help!
For Keith!
Yes!! For Keith!!! .......who is Keith?
@ lol a buddy who doesn’t like to air down. He’s experienced but still doesn’t like to air down. lol
Awesome video! I'd love to get my overlanding gear set up and hopefully join you on one of your amazing trips.
That would be great!! I am in!!
What a great idea and thing to do!! Thanks!!!
Thank you! I can't wait to see all the responses
Absolutely incredible give back ! I clean up whenever I'm out exploring when I see garbage anyway but this is super cool
@explorethewild95 thanks! Mitch had a great idea!
I've never heard of a camping pass.
@@jamesroffel in Alberta, they have a mandatory camping pass to free camp on Crown Land.
I'm no seamstress, but I've fashioned myself a polyester fill "blanket" similar to jackets, then insert it, spread it in between the mesh ceiling and the rainfly. It slows down the loss of heat. Still figuring out how to do the same with the side walls
Yes that would help a lot!!! I use a wool blanket , helps a lot in the colder weather
looks so good! thank you for the content, also how would you know if you can camp there? is there a campground location or u can just camp whenever u feel safe?
Random camping is allowed in the valley. It really is a beautiful valley. My favorite place to camp there is Devils Gap.
Great Idea!
Thank you!!
This is excellent! Many of us end up packing out tons of other people's garbage almost every time we go out. We're going to do it regardless, but it's nice to get rewarded for it. You guys should petition the provincial government to adopt this program; it would be a smashing success, and if they're actually telling the truth when they claim the fee is actually intended to support and sustain access to the crown land around the rockies, and isn't just a cash grab, they should jump on it.
That is so awesome to hear!! It is great that so many people clean up. Thank you for all your efforts!!
Thanks Jason, it takes a village!
@@VoyagerOverland agreed!
Great idea!!!!
Yes it is, doing what we can to make our back country a better place.
Hi Do you interested in adding some LED upgrade to your rig? We hope to do some sponsorship with you
I am looking for rock lights...
What kills me is the government could fix these bridges once every 50 years at minimum cost!! But no that would allow people the freedom of going out to enjoy the back country!! An in my mind as well fixing the Bridges would be great for forestry management an fire fighters if needed to get back there !! But our amazing government would rather spend money on rainbow cross walks!!!!
Want to hear about a miracle? Apparently the 3rd bridge that had the heavy equipment parked and concrete barriers at was fixed about a week after I was through there. That's a good surprise.....I was expecting them to pull the bridge out.
Are you able to post or send me the coordinates to the trail up to the fire tower?
Another great adventure, with lots to see and do. Thanks for adding another area for the bucket list lol.😛
@@BiggerBetterFaster anytime!!
@@OverlandAlberta lol
Wow cool area
Yes, very cool. Many trails and really beautiful mountains
Watching you tackle that tight, rocky trail was a joy! It’s clear your rig was built for adventure, and you handled it with precision.
Thank you🙏, It does get me to some pretty incredible places.
Great video! Look forward to joining you on future adventures
@ShankOutdoors Thank you 🙏 would love to do an adventure!
The views at the firetower were amazing
@BackCountryWrenching yes they were. So many trails to explore out there.......going back for sure
Great adventure guys!! And great video brother!! Always awesome to see my friends get out there!!
@adventuredog_overland thank you! Working on our Racehorse pass video....coming out soon!
nice video. I just cani get over the beautiful country we have around us. and some great history, thanks for sharing..
Thank you John!! There are some pretty amazing places out there
Great video brother, hoping to make it out with you all again soon! nice looking toyotas hahahaha
Haha 😄 thanks! Let make it soon
Another outstanding adventure. Thanks for taking us along! I actually just got back from an overnight in the crown land in Athabasca you did in a previous video. Scouted an access point to another large chunk of crown along the shores of the river on the same trip. Cheers!
Thank you 🙏 There are a lot of trails to explore up Athabasca way! I need to get up there some more.
That mud up around Athabasca, specifically towards calling lake is something else! Sticks like no other
@@travisgbarr Where I was, there was a fair bit of mud, but surprisingly it came off pretty easy when I rinsed the truck. The area I was in was quite sandy, so that might be a factor.
@@OverlandAlberta Would love to run into you on the trails sometime. Met you at the Expo in 2023 and had a nice time talking with you and your wife. Cheers and keep adventuring!
@@WhiteCavendishI would love to do an adventure with you!!! Let's plan it!
Great footage of the Flathead! I do like the idea of the Gazelle tent you have. RTT is great but gets old packing up every morning to explore. Since switching, do you worry about bears any more than when you were in the RTT? Thanks 👍
Thank you! I do worry a bit more with bears. The Gazelle has 2 doors, I usually park the Jeep so I can access from either door with little issue. I always carry bear spray and bangers. The biggest thing is I cook away from the tent and stow my food properly
Great video! I have put that trail onto my bucket list!
So many trails to explore out there!!
You actually missed the sketchiest bridge of them all :P
Ya, that is going to be another trip!!
We explored that area for the first time also this summer, we will go back! Awesome video as always!
Thank you!! So many good trails out there.
Awesome video! I also checked that fire tower and abandoned border crossing off my bucket list this year. So grateful we get to do experience and enjoy these unique places. Love it!
Thank you! 🙏 A really beautiful area there.
Seen your rig in red deer
It was fun to watch! Thank you for sharing.
@@gstev1 anytime!! Thank you for watching 🙏
Yes I enjoyed this!! Thanks for posting!
@@earlkoropatnick1928 I am happy you enjoyed it!! 🙏
You guys passed me on the way up Racehorse pass a couple days ago! I was on the way out on my Quad. Such a fun area to explore. Have you ever been down the back side of Racehorse? I rode a bit of the way down but it started looking like it could get pretty squirrely down there and I was riding solo. Decided to turn around before getting myself in trouble.
@@MattRWilson I remember seeing you! It sure is a beautiful area!!
The Gladiator has an even longer wheelbase than my old long wheelbase Land rover. It is too long
Yes it does! That break over is a doosie!
Amazing
Agreed!
amazing, I would love to do this
It is such a beautiful area
very nice view brother wish one day we go together
For sure! Let's make plans
Nice to see more Canadian companies out there. Alberta has at least 3 now of these offroad types.
I have to agree with that
Great video and description Jason, heading there tomorrow to enjoy the Beauty
Have fun Brother!!! Wish I could go. Still transporting Expo trailers from the grounds. Last one coming back today
Again nice video jason.
@@ToToPAT0617 thank you!! I appreciate that
Love this been looking for a place to go over landing and I am close to where you are so that works
It is a beautiful area!
Happen to have a map of which roads to get there ? Heading there tomorrow
@THEFOODDEE I do not, I know where to go but do not have pins. There are 2 starting ways into the falls. One near flapjack Lake and one off the Grave Flats Road
Annnnd now they’re banning firearms out there 🙄
That is not the answer! It is always the few that wreck it for everyone. I do not have the answers but banning is not the solution.
/assist phatdhad
@SHOTSLAPOUT haha yes /ASSIST!!
can i go with a van? 😅
I will not be there this year. Have a great weekend guys!💯👍
