So nice to see someone perfectly set up a tremolo. I use the same exact technique. It is flawless. Pay attention to this people. This is how it is done!!!!!

I absolutely can't say enough about the Gotoh 510 Trem-system on my 2014 Suhr. The Tuning-stability and Return-to-Pitch is Phenomenal. I am Amazed, everytime - that I use it. I will Never be without = Ended my Search for a floating-tremolo system . . . "That Actually Works" oNe LovE from NYC

As a fan of the 510 and all things two point terms might I suggest you give the infamous Vega trem a go sometime. Blew my mind.

My Mexican Charvel had the worst stock spring claw. Had to upgrade to a Schaller with noiseless springs, way better. That screwdriver is dope.

Any plans to make a block for the non Charvel 510? Has Different string spacing and mounting holes... I’m using a non Charvel Gotoh 510 in my DK24, but want the FU-tone Charvel brass block with the different string spacing and mounting holes.

Anyone know if this will for sure fit an Ibanez AZ (Gotoh T1502)? I bought 2 blocks from other sources that were supposed to fit, but the screw spacing was off. =(

Upgrade sounds enormous distorted! Looking forward to doing an FU-Tone block upgrade. Not sure if I would do it for the clean sound, the chime becomes metallic to a point it overtakes the chime and snap. Perhaps that is something that can be tweaked by trying various different block weights? Please don't mistake my intention, I'm not slagging at all, more keen to understand how the different block weights impact sound. I'm listening on AKG702, which are very flat and well suited for the audio side of this excellent demo. I have 32mm FR block and I do think this particular guitar of mine is choking the sustain somewhere in chain,so I wonder if a 37mm block is the way forward or if the denser fu 32mm block is best to maintain the stock FR bridge configuration. It's also a guitar that could benefit from a more metallic edge to its chiming properties..any thoughts from anyone is kindly appreciated ✌️🎶🎶

How high off the body does the trem bass plate have to be?
Nice to see a tech mentioning that the setup should be done in a playing position.
    Thank you.

Thanks, love the vid, there are not many out there that show how to set up a floating trem, when your guitar body is recessed, unless you have a F/R with a locking nut. I recently bought a Charvel Pro Mod DK24. I have no problem floating the tremolo but No matter what I do. I cant get the intonation where it should be on the Top E & A. I cant pull the saddles back any further as there is no room left on the spring. I should mention, it doesn't have the best cut nut I've ever seen, but it did pass the QC in Mexico & Peach Guitars right here in the UK. I've tried the usual remedies to rectify this, but nothing is working. Please help.

So if you float these tremolos you have to tune it by adjusting the claw screws?

I assume here that because of the way the bridge is constructed, this block can also be used by and for left handed 510 bridges, correct?

Shiiit...I have the HH version and and can't do a simple bend on the G string without it going out of tune!! Have had it set up, replaced tuners, nut filed, nut sauced, replaced string trees, and even blocked the tremolo. Still won't stay in tune! Done wasting time and money on it!!

The original block in these guitars is steel and it’s actually a pretty nice block. The USA DK24 comes with a brass block. Considering they and the sperzel tuners are the only difference between the Mexican and USA made one for 2,600 difference in price I’ll buy the $45 block and install it myself😂
