- BMW F30 Airbag removal (The Right way!) - How to remove m sport steering wheel airbag.
BMW F30 and F22 Airbag removal guide. This video will show how to remove the airbag of an m sport steering wheel for most F Series BMW models (M235i/M240i/335i/340i/435i/440/230i ect). You will need to remove your F30 BMW airbag for some modifications or airbag replacements. You will not need to turn off the BMW airbag light by removing the airbag this way. To remove the steering wheel airbag on a F30/F22/ F series BMW you will need only a few tools and about 15 minutes.

I found an allen key to be the easiest way to get the airbag out for the m sport wheel
allen key is the only valid way
For m sport wheel is super easy but for regular steering wheel on 2014 bmw 320i is a dam daunting task took me hour finally i give up
How do you put it back in? Do u just push it into place or so u have to work with the tabs again?

I have a question that I cannot find the answer to anywhere. Is this airbag ^^ (and those in other m sport BMWs) a dual-stage airbag? I've seen some with two connectors going into the airbag itself and I've seen some with three and I've been told multiple things. could you describe the airbag in your car?
was it a dual stage or triple stage airbag?
Stage this or that isn't relevant. I'm guessing it's stage 3. Stage 2 was "new" as far back as late series E36 and early E46.
