I have a bmw 320d touring 2014, do you know why i can not change Bluetooth music with the scroll on the right side of the wheel? When i scroll it the current song name will come up but i can not go to the next song.
Is this Ian aftermarket system or OEM head unit? Is this the only thing that does not work? Is this happening in Apple carplay? All music apps? USB, Radio, etc? Only time I’ve seen that happen is when the song playing is the only one currently in the playlist or a single selected song. Try and straight press on the scroll wheel and then try to scroll. Reboot your phone. Different lightning cable or disconnect and reconnect wireless…
@@visiongarage277 It is the OEM head unit. When i listen to the radio i can scroll trough the radio stations with the scroll. If you get a US airbag to US vehicle it will be a different programming process or possibly plug and play. It’s quite complicated. @@visiongarage277 Do you have the instructions for ESYS? I have bimmercode, but I guess it doesn't allow me to get into expert mode for the ACSM coding. I have the codes I need, just curious which instructions you used.
Yes everything will still work. You can always add paddle shifters and code them. I think Kies did a vid on how to verify if your car is equipped with the paddle shifter wiring… it is under the passenger dash.
For the paddle shifters, yes, plug and play. The main thing is the airbag. If you have a German spec or US spec airbag. German spec has a single velocity when deployed, US spec has 2 velocities depending on impact levels detected by the system. You’ll want to match that up for plug and play. If airbag origin is mismatched, you will need to have it coded.
@@visiongarage277 got a USA dual airbag. I believe the m sport steering is manual. But since my old steering bag doesn’t have any shifters. It should work?

Hey man thank you. There are a couple things to look for. Some come pre-wired from BMW, it has to do with the pin configuration under the passenger dash (pins 2 and 5) and the steering wheel wiring harness. I’m out of town and will try to get a more definitive answer for you when I get back. 👍
Hey what’s up man? No, BimmerCode is not just a cached to memory type coding, it is a hard code to your ecu. Therefore, disconnecting your battery has no affect any customizations with BC. Hope that helps...👍🏼

I’m not exactly sure. Typically, exact replacement parts do not have to be coded, they are plug and play. If you are replacing paddle shift / steering vibration for the same, I can’t imagine that it would require coding. Usually there is a fuss for foreign parts. I could be wrong though. Sorry I can’t provide a definitive answer on that. Best of luck to you though. 👍

What's up David? With Android stereos, you can install a program called Eplay, which is essentially Apple Car Play. I received the license and download link for Eplay with the Eonon Car Play USB dongle I purchased from Amazon. I'll be doing a video soon on how I installed it and demonstration. Apple Car Play is a game changer for car infotainment! Love it!
There is a little line / marker at bottom center that basically only allows you to put the steering wheel on one way. You’ll feel it when it lines up and then push the steering wheel on.
Did this a few months ago. That base airbag is a PAIN. I just tore apart the steering column plastic and unclipped it from a rear access point. Much easier
Yeah, since I’ve done this install, I’ve seen several different methods from other videos. Whatever the method, it’s definitely worth it getting the new one in there. Looks so good!
