Awesome! I’ve a 225d 2017 coupe 2 series I think it’s the F22 The button cruise rocker as warn and I also need to do this, my question is is it same as this as we have different models but steering wheel looks same. I also just need to change that button. It’s only cheap on eBay.
Anyone know how to remove the button group if you have paddles on the back of the wheel? I have removed the paddles and there appears to be no way of unscrewing them from the back. There is no hold like in the video.
You’ve probably sorted it by now, but for anyone else: there is a black T20 holding the controls in behind the paddle shifters once you remove them. It’s very difficult to see as it’s over to the left of the wheel.
You actualy don't need to remove an airbag or even unscrew the button unit. You just remove that silver trim around this button, use a 2 screw drivers from both sides of a button and it pops out easily. 3 min job 🫣
This video helps me a lot. Thanks dude you’re a star
Just changed mine - thank you!

If it looks the same, then this is the same F-series m-sport steering wheel. So procedure is as shown. Nothing difficult, with care.
Thank you sir. I cut the time a lot.😊
does the button feel like the original ? is it soft rubber like original og harder ?
A bit harder. But on such a small button you cant' feel difference
Where cane I find the part ?
You can find it on aliexpress. Quality is nice for the price. About 5 $/piece

Is wiring length enough to do this? I don't think so.
@@headliner4936 It is, i did it. It was tight though.
Anyone made a video? I'm afraid of damaging the silver trim.
Your absolutely right.! 👍
@@headliner4936 It worked for me. The cable length is tight but it works.
