Thank you for the advice and I was using a window cleaner and paper towels to wipe and clean my HP laptop then months later my laptop screen cracked and luckily I had a separate monitor to hook up to the computer and when do you replace the micro cloth for a new one?
Thanks, I bought this cheap crap from Walmart like the stuff you used at the end amonia free for tv screens and it still didn't work I've heard the distilled water thing but I think what worked was the circle motion with the dry towel first
The most difficult thing to get off the screen is cat snot. I purchased the rather expensive specialized flat screen cleaner and microfiber cloths. It works well.
Thank you. One suggestion though, it would be great if your links could be set up to go to country specific suppliers. Hopefully, that is possible to sort out :)
Trying to work out how to get the smears from splattered wax off mine 😩 scraped it off with a store card made of cardboard & cleaned it with ionised water on a cloth but the smears are still there. I guess they'll come off over time 🤷🏻♀️
Oh my gosh I have two sets of two and three year olds twins and boy oh boy if they can get it on their hands it’s now all over my house windows, mirrors, dishes China, silver but my ultimate pet pev is my big 65 inch big screen tv and what ever I do! it will not come clean to the point of either throwing the tv out or baning the children from the house haaa but I’m at my wits end I just can’t find any thing that takes that greasy smeared look off and I’ve tried everything. Any suggestions for the ultimate greasy grimme tv
Time (if you consider that as a product lol). Soak the ultra soft tissue into distilled water and tap it on the smudge for few seconds to a minute, then gently wipe, then do that process again with a new area of the tissue or with a new tissue.
Thank you, I just got a hand me down 55” 4k because we upgraded the one in the living room to a 65”!! Pardon my Bragg!! But yea like I said thank you, my tv had handprints and kittie cat buggers all over it!!
Do you wash your microfiber cloths with distilled water, since tap water in the washing machine has minerals as well? Wouldn't those minerals stay embedded in the cloth?
I installed a whole house reverse osmosis in my utility room. What a difference that's made with the washing! We can actually drink faucet water now too!
@@ashyslashy5722 Drinking water has minerals in it. You don't want to continuously wipe your screen using tap water, eventually it will become scratched.
NOPE. It's gotta be UNBOTTLED water. That layer of plastic that keeps the H20 in place is like a force field to slow down the path of progress. Thank heavens there's a twisty cap on the top to break the chain. 🔗
Jeez doesn’t she take a breath ……she’s going at it like a steam train….. Slow down for Christ sake. . I’ve just watched another how to clean and it said don’t clean in a circular motion.
Thanks. Just followed these steps for my 82 inch in my living room & my 65 inch in my bedroom. It came out good.
I found that soaking a micro cloth in medium hot water and then ringing it out and wiping in sections followed by a dry microfibre towel works well
Just ordered the cleaner .. Thanks😀
Thank you for the short and sweet explanation. The 8 min video to say distilled water and screen cloth was too much!
That's about 3/4 of UA-cam videos lol. 1 min of real info and about 7-15 mins of self recognition.
FR.
You talked perfect. Clear!
Thanks for showing me how to clean my flat screen tv. 👍
Love the ending! 🤣 Great video, this is just what I was looking for.

I never thought a 30 second video could be dragged out to over 3 minutes but here we are.
There is a scratch filler liquid glass . Worked on my panasonic 60 viera plasma
Why are people so negative? If you don't like what she has to say turn the video off. Pretty simple.
Thank u😊

Perhaps you could enlighten us as to the name of the rather expensive specialized flat screen cleaner instead of being so cryptic about it.
why is your cat blowing its snot on your tv?
Thank you.

I admit, wax will be tough to remove. Heat is the best way to remove wax, and you can't apply heat to the screen. 😕

I use rubbing alcohol to clean my screen - it seems fine but will it less it up )
How about we just blow air on the corners to get rid of dust? Safe practice?
What is the product you used for the stubborn smudges?

Ok
NO CIRCULAR MOTION . DO NOT USE CIRCULAR MOTIONS. YOU WILL SCRATCH YOUR SCREEN.
How bout saying what motion to do it.. instead of just saying one of the ways not to do it ? Lol
@@AboveAverageAvenue😂😂😂 what’s the only other way to do it other than circular? STRAIGHT!!🤦🏼♂️😆
Just like a disk

My Sony tv screen looks filthy, from a wood fire that broke and has smoke dust all over it any suggestions. Please

I don't. I don't think miner deposits will make much of a difference with the cleaning ability of the cloth

Circular motions will scratch it
Seriously? Then what motion???
Wax on wax off 😂
I just spit on my flat screen and clean it with a fine sandpaper. Is that wrong?
Not for a da!
@@FromtheKing1
Da?
Why does it have to be unplugged??? And what about heavy tobacco stains??
If you have to ask, you shouldn't own one.
What if you don’t have distilled water
Distilled water is just clean drinking water. So basically just don’t use tap water.
@@ashyslashy5722 Drinking water has minerals in it. You don't want to continuously wipe your screen using tap water, eventually it will become scratched.
Distilled water costs $2 at Walmart.
Youn sn a dually make it with boiling water, a bowl and ice. Google it first tho
Hmmmm....I was warned to NEVER wipe in a circular motion because this can cause permanent marks.
Thought this was ASMR, my mistake aaaaggggggggghhhhhhhhh !
Will bottled water work?

@@Training_Wheels ohh I never thought about it like that before , thank you for your insight
This does NOT work. Made the TV much dirtier with smudges using this method
Please don’t talk quite so fast? Thank you.
You didn't talk fast enough. I still understood you. (FFS!)
