What I find funny is that young people consider this "so evil" yet... it's what has been happening for thousands of years throughout history and still happens to this day. Teenage girls were getting married to and having kids with men in their 20s and 30s because the max life expectancy was like 40-60. In Hindu culture, women are married off to much older men while they are still infants. It's only modern western culture in recent decades that has decided that anyone who ISN'T a teen, yet finds teens sexy is a monster, despite it being normal throughout history and the world.
@@jashinslayer Dude, racism, homophobia, and murder for the sake of religion has also been a thing for centuries, but that doesn’t mean they’re not horrible and evil. Also, the only reason people say that the average life expectancy was around 40 back then was because infant mortality was taken into account. Once you survive childhood, your life expectancy sky-rockets. The reason that adults going after children is fucked up is because their brains haven’t fully developed, their risk-reward judgement especially. It was always an unfair and “potentially” abusive (in the sense that bears are “potentially” dangerous) power dynamic

@@michaelcarlton1484 Haveyou taken any courses in animation? It may help you. I watched his video explaining how he does it out of interest, but it went over my head. I’m not in animation, but I think his explanation was for ppl with experience in it. Not to say you don’t. Just trying to help.
I think what adds a lot to the comedy is how characters in his animations barely move their position when they talk to each other, joker being a predator is hilarious but him explaining to bats how much of a predator he is while standing there swaying left and right like he's in a class presentation puts the cherry on top.
It's because he's using a form of motion capture and then basically animating over it. He's using fairly basic equipment and mostly working by himself so if he moves around too much it's harder to animate and looks bad on camera (which you catch glimpses of). They aren't true animations in the technical sense but a fusion of animation and performance.
It gives him a super unique style that I've never seen elsewhere, and in my option when it comes to art, slightly wonky style is always better than being perfectly the same as typical animators.
@@AConquerorsVendetta You can tell by the way the characters sway a little when they are supposed to be still (because it's very hard for a real person to stay perfectly still, especially when acting out a scene like this); that, and of course you can see the Joker's hands and arms disappear sometimes (because it's against a green screen and whatever he is wearing is being confused with it by the computer). Also why, if you look at Joker's eyes, you might notice that his pupils don't move- against, an animator would make sure they did, but this isn't true animation.

What I find funny is that young people consider this "so evil" yet... it's what has been happening for thousands of years throughout history and still happens to this day.

In Hindu culture, women are married off to much older men while they are still infants.

Also why, if you look at Joker's eyes, you might notice that his pupils don't move- against, an animator would make sure they did, but this isn't true animation.

It makes you uncomfortable because you have been conditioned from birth. In other parts of the world like Italy and Germany, 14 is perfectly legal and considered fair game.
What should make you uncomfortable is that this isn't a crime. It is not a crime to talk to an underage person and it is not a crime to date them once they reach the age of consent. Like Joker had to end up in jail on a technicality here.
@@metallisika2745 Some countries draw the line at 16, some at 14, usually with caveats attached to them.
