I'm referencing the _New Frontier_ comic by Darwyn Cooke, in which Batman discovers the Martian Manhunter for the first time and threatens to expose him, before eventually calming down.
As Bats goes to leave the Manhunter alone, he menacingly quips that he has "a $70,000 sliver of meteorite to stop the one in Metropolis; with you, all I need is a penny for a book of matches" - referring of course to J'onn's fear of fire.

And they’re not to dismantle the justice league but to subdue them. Perfect example got played out when Darkseid brainwashed Superman. After that no one should have an issue with it.
@@adarkwind4712 My personal take is that it's more that Batman, who in the modern day is pretty famous for not working well in teams, has them. So it feels less like a genuine plan in case something goes wrong and more "Why does the emo lonely kid have these?"
@@adarkwind4712 The point is there needs to be trust between the team. All Batman has to do is tell the team, "Guys, I have plans to defeat all of you in case any enemy of ours puts you under mind-control because you guys are the most powerful beings on Earth." He doesn't have to tell them WHAT the plans are, just that they exist.
The League found out anyway when Ra's stole those plans and attacked them so what was the point of keeping them secret? Don't you agree it'd have been better if the League heard it from Batman himself rather than finding out AFTER they were attacked?
Fun Fact: In the original Tower of Babel comic, it's revealed that Batman having contingencies was originally Superman's idea. And Batman had told Superman that he had taken his advice completed a plan against him. Superman was angry because Batman made plans against the rest of the league too without telling them.

the thing is, those could very well be lies, cause batman is known for being (and plenty of times brutally) honest, so its entirely possible that evil batman is just constantly lying his butt off

“Evil Flash played by Ezra Miller”. Underrated gag right there.

Glad to see someone else already mentioned it. There are a lot of great jokes in this, but that was the funniest (and truest) one to me.
So does Evil Flash _not_ groom children and leave guns and bullets out for 1-year-olds to find?

Batman: Owns space station
Also Batman: the Earth is flat
I love that the only difference between the Wonder Women is that the “evil” one is voiced
The best part to me is, Batman easily has both the scientific knowledge and resources to unequivocally prove to himself that the world is round. So if he's really part of the FE cult, it's entirely out of some desire to be counterfactual.
Or he's actually seen it
@@alexanderjohnson-outlaw1146 Superman too. I mean, he flies around it all the time. And Green Lantern. Flash runs around the world every day. Martian Manhunter is actually from another planet, he'd have to know. So is Hawkman, sort-of. Heck, most of the Justice League is in on this terrible secret...
@@nightsong81 tbf I could see Hawkman being a flat earther just for the attention
TECHNICALLY bro lives in a comic book, he isn't technically wrong in claiming it is flat (despite all in-world appearances to the contrary). Best part of the joke for me because this is the only one he actually defends it very well might be the only true claim, implying Evil Batman was smart enough to be messing with them AND to realize if he put something at the end he knew Batman WOULD try and defend it defacto makes ALL the claims seem true XD. @@BertoxolusThePuzzled Clearly Evil Batman had prep time. This showdown was over before it began.

People laugh about the bats implication, but the introduction is funny as hell too.
It's such an absurdely inane line - peak parody right there. I love it :D!
I can't help but imagine the conversation between Evil Batman and Evil Robin:
"Robin, if there's an alternate dimension out there that's the exact opposite of us, how is our relationship in their universe?"
"We probably like hate each other's guts or something."
"Okay, but hear me out..."

He did create an army just to defeat Batman.
@@yaujj65 Jason Todd has a huge grudge against Batman in the comics too. Or had, I hear he has had a redemption arc since I stopped reading. It's a pretty defining characteristic about him ever since readers literally voted to have him killed by the joker.
@@ach3456 that was a sick moment and also an amazing one.
Yep, just as a good Batman is a man of order, the evil one is a man of chaos.
this just ties into batman being tactical. he was paying attention when evil superman said they were the "opposite in EVERY way" and robin caught on quickly and boy did they abuse that advantage. Maybe the evil batman and Robin are just smart. But in that respect...that makes the good batman and robin...dumb, which ties into the ending "hear me out".
I imagine evil Batman cleaned Gotham up with well-funded institutions and transit systems, and acts like a villain to give the cops something to justify their paychecks. His Robin is actually a comedian actor who masterminds the funny pranks.
Joker's opposite hit his head on the lid of a chemical vat during the failed chemical plant robbery. Because those lids followed OSHA protocol, he died of a brain hemorrhage, thus saving thousands, perhaps millions of lives.
I was thinking this but then the flat earth thing happened and he kinda tacitly confirmed all the other stuff.
That also means Evil Batman is excellent at trolling.
@@MK_ULTRA420 a truly efficient Batman wouldn’t run around to justify the corrupt institution that is the Gotham PD, but would instead use his influence to campaign for defunding the police and reallocating those funds to social workers who can actually make a change and help the common crooks of Gotham clean up their act and reintegrate into society smoothly and healthily.
