The type-47-B Dutoros Scarab was used in the invasion of Reach, as we see in the game. It would be sooo cool if, in halo infinite, when you killed the crew piloting the scarab, it would go nuts and start killing and destroying everything around, even covenant.
Agreed. The first Halo games I played were CE, 3, ODST, and Reach, so by the time I got to 2, I was very confused as to why the Scarab was not *A* Scarab.
The first Scarab you talked about was not a special kind of stationary scarab. It’s the same thing as the Super Scarab from Halo 2 (which is different than the ones seen in halo 3 and reach). The reason it couldn’t move was because it was under construction, which Forge tells us during the mission in Halo wars.
I mean, if you bothering looking at Halopedia, you could find all, if not, more information about all types of Scarab models. Halopedia's a pretty good website, all things considered.
Regret deployed the scarab because his original mission going to earth was to dig up the portal to the ark. The game states that somehow the covenant did not know earth was the human home world. Most likely he deployed all that he had which would have included the mining equipment. Great video!!!

last time i was this early the assault rifle has 60 rounds in it and the warthog was invincible
“Which means this scarab can operate underwater.” Is a statement that just makes my soul shrink in fear.
If we want to be technical, the Scarab is a piece of Battle Armor the worms control.
Scrolling through my youtube feel I swear I read the thumbnail as "THE ARAB"
And it took me a second to realize
Lol at the thumbnail: "THE ARAB"
It's like what the final mutation of an arab looks like
No wonder the explosion is massive
@@chasingthestereotype6420 it's so destructive
..clickbait. No scarab tank blows it's self up.
@Kota Lz 💀
Halo wars 2 scarab for me is by far the coolest!
The volatile scarab is the most frightening thing imaginable

What's better than a scarab? *Me* -Volatile Scarab
The type-47-B Dutoros Scarab was used in the invasion of Reach, as we see in the game. When I actually thought about it, I wondered why it was there instead of the one from Halo 2 because Reach takes place even before Halo: CE. At first I thought it was a flaw so, this video was very informative. Thank you.
We know exactly why they weren't invincible
They were extremely weak to 7ft tall chads
Yes finally scarab lore
Ya can't beat a bit of Scarab, unless of course you kill the mischievous worms that operate them
@@HiddenXperia hi xperia i think im a scarab i make weird mechanical noises while i puke out green stuff and i also turn purple
@@HiddenXperia it started when i ate a fuel rod
@@HiddenXperia When you get to the worms in the back, use the magnum.
The Halo 3 Scarab will always be what I think of when I think of Scarab. It’s just so awesome looking and I played missions like the Ark and the Covenant over and over again so I spent a lot of time with them lol
Damn, last time I was this early, the forerunners were yet to activate the Halo rings
10:04 could be done to prevent the worms from getting out of control
i'm kinda mad all the stuff we saw in Halo Wars 2 was not seen in Halo Infinite
“Content is gonna be coming thick and fast” this sentence almost made me vomit lmao.
Was actually really glad to see you do a little more insight on the Kraken! Always was more curious about it than what we got to learn in Halo 5.
oh scarabs, the classic beasts
The buggy boys

The giant robo-crabs
I always assumed that once you kill all the infantry in the Scarab in Halo 2, there was a switch or series of switches Chief pressed to cause it to overheat or something. That, or there was a kind of dead man's switch for asset denial. Although I have to say, the dead man's switch idea makes even more sense now that I know those Lekgolo were unruly lol
You gotta agree when we saw the scarab in halo 2 we all had the same reaction as the marine in the pelican
It’s my favorite design. They never used it again and it makes me sad..
Never saw none of ur videos before, but just the intro goes soo hard , so nice video
I love the explosion after you take down the scarabs it's satisfying.
I don’t think the halo wars scarab was ever finished?

The Muslim religion is literally nazism as a religion. No good has, or ever will come from it.
Oh, sorry I dropped by bag of truth all over the floor, sorry, did not mean to show that.
@@jakespacepiratee3740 ok zoomer
@@gazzaalfarisyi873 ISIS and Taliban militants have literally been seen doing Nazu salutes, and the Arabian-translated version of "Mein Kampf" is one of the best-selling books in Iran. Need more proof? I'll give it to ya anyways. Hitler met with a militant Muslim leader known as the "mufti" (that sounds like something you clean your chimney with) and he had a nice discussion about how they both hate Jews and how they can mass-murder them faster. I'm sure there are still plenty of moderate muslims out there, maybe you are one of them, but you are honestly only fooling yourselves.
@@jakespacepiratee3740 Aah yes. Jews, the one group White nationalists & Islamists can agree on hating.

Your heresy will stay your feet.
I like how forerunner sounds like “foreigner”
It's been almost two years since this video has released and we still haven't seen a Banished Scarab in first person ... This indeed is heresy. I hope we get to see a full one in a campaign DLC somewhere down the line
I was disappointed when there was no scarab in infinite
It would be sooo cool if, in halo infinite, when you killed the crew piloting the scarab, it would go nuts and start killing and destroying everything around, even covenant.
Halo 3’s Scarab will always be the main Scarab in my head cause 3 was my first Halo game.
I was like “uh, what’s this?” When I saw it in 2.
Agreed. The first Halo games I played were CE, 3, ODST, and Reach, so by the time I got to 2, I was very confused as to why the Scarab was not *A* Scarab.
Fools: The Scarab is a vehicle!
Fools: The Scarab is an infantry unit!
Geniuses: The Scarab is power armor.
“THE ARAB”
LMFAO thumb nail looks like "The Arab"
The thumbnail made me do a double take: THE ARAB
Sad that the banished scarab wasn't in Halo Infinite, or even the other scarabs.
The hunters are the scarabs little Cubs
Finally, you can barely find this stuff anywhere.
I mean, if you bothering looking at Halopedia, you could find all, if not, more information about all types of Scarab models.
Halopedia's a pretty good website, all things considered.
Legit thought the thumbnail said "The Arab"
1:07 that aged poorly
A very extremely awesome video as always HiddenXperia. And these look amazing too.
Regret deployed the scarab because his original mission going to earth was to dig up the portal to the ark. The game states that somehow the covenant did not know earth was the human home world. Most likely he deployed all that he had which would have included the mining equipment. Great video!!!
PC PLAYERS ARE ABLE TO PLAY THE BEST GAME NOW HALO :) scarabs are beasts to.
