- The Intuit Dome will host the 2026 NBA All-Star game.
More work and development is seen at the Plaza area next to the Intuit Dome, where an outdoor basketball court and big screen will be. Most panels on the exterior of the dome are now complete. Intuit Dome is scheduled for completion in August 2024.

Let's Go Clippers.
All Star game in 2026 is gonna be a movie 🔥
So many memories living in that area in the 90s!
I hear ya. When did the Century Drive in theater close? And when was the Target, LA Fitness, Home depot built?
@@williamanderson4999 the drive in was close by the late 80s and Home depot went up around the late 90s.
Thanks for the update. I went to Washington High and grew up around 108th Street & Van Ness. I left LA in 1987 with the Army and came back for good around 2005. Lot's of changes in that Hollywood Park area. The Target and gated houses behind Darby Park were part of Hollywood Park. Wow! It was Hugh.
Great footage. Thanks so much, John.
Clippers slowly running LA again
Lets go ClipShow !!! The Arena is almost finished
Clipshow... really 😒
Clipcruise would make more sense, cruising like a boat which the clipper name comes from
Nice one bro 👍
LAC 🏀💯
Good close up shots. Looks like the panels at the top are solid and the ones on the sides are not. That means there will be a lot of diffused light that will shower down in the spaces below the panels. Very curious to see those indoor spaces. Do you know if those panels can be remotely opened and closed or are they fixed in those positions? Well done. Thanks, again.
I'm guessing panels are in a fixed position, but can't definitively say.
I don’t what you’re doing different with the audio but the audio in the last few videos has been horrible…
I didn't realize just how close the arena is to the street. Usually these buidings have a much larger offset from the street.
I'd say Prairie Ave is similar to BMO (LA Sports Arena) on Figueroa and MLK is similar to Century blvd.
@@JEKI see. I miss the Sports Arena. I always called it the flying saucer because it reminded me of the spaceship on the original Lost in Space.
As beautiful as it looks it just seems strange how it's tucked into a residential/light industrial area. Maybe it will eventually look like it fits but for now it seems incongruent.
Talking about a good tuck job. Where the Brooklyn Nets play in Brooklyn, the Barclays Center, you'd wonder how they fit that arena in the space they had. Very tight with no parking space nor a parking garage.
@@williamanderson4999yeah and to think that’s where Walter O’Malley wanted to build a stadium for the Dodgers before moving to LA.
@@williamanderson4999 difference is in NY, most people take the train that's why it can get away with no parking. There is a huge transit hub directly under Barclay's Center
Getting there. What’s that structure on the corner of Century & Prairie going to be used for.
It might be the team store.
i wonder if rent goes up or down for that neighborhood apartment complex right behind the dome.
Looks cool! What’s the capacity?
Almost 18,000
lakers second home
First event will be a concert, normally.
Yeah, Usher will be the first concert headliner there on September 21, 2024.
Lakers probably hatting the clippers now lebron James I want out wanna join the clippers 🤣😂🤣😂
That is an Unattractive BLDG.. It doesn't even compare with many many Existing Domes
