Butterick 3460 Sew Along // DIY Elastic Waist Skirt with Drawstring & Side Slits Sewing Tutorial

Watch as I sew a quick and easy, knee length skirt with an elasticated waist, drawstring, and side slits. I have omitted the center front and back seams, and I've added buttonholes for my drawstrings. I show how I made these adjustments in this video, as I show you how I've constructed the skirt from start to finish.
The recommended fabric for this project is light to medium weight cotton, silk, challis, or rayon. I have used a viscose fabric with nice flow and drape.

May I request you slow down the first stitching, such as the pockets and slits. It's difficult for a beginner to absorb what you are teaching if it's is so rapid. I do.enjoy your tutorials.
