ALTERNATES TO OEM HEADLIGHT BULB:
Headlight bulb replacement is simple process. If you have OEM headlight bulbs these are likely made by 'Philips Automotive' or 'Sylvania Auto Bulbs' , both are easily available locally at Honda, at auto parts stores or you can order online. At the time of headlight bulb replacement we can also upgrade to much brighter LED headlights by simply using LED headlight bulbs which are also easily available in most stores.
However, if your vehicle has upgraded (High Intensity Discharge) HID lights which uses HID headlight bulbs / HID headlights (along with HID ballast), or Xenon headlights these may be special order but they all fit in the vehicle the same way I show in this video.

Tonight. My headlight went out. Most shops closed around me. Went to auto zone, bought a bulb, asked the guy if he knew how to change a bulb for my 2015 Accord. He said, "no, only for cars that are from year 1980s and below". I'm not lying. So I immediately got on UA-cam, watched your video and I changed the bulb right there outside of Auto Zone. 😊 Thank you so much!!! ❤ my first time changing it...nailed it! 😂 Lights are back on!! 👍🏼

Good Job! My accord just had the driver side burns out just like yours so I'll have to change the bulb too. I however, will not go to Honda dealer to get mine. Just my local Walmart / Home improvement center which are closer to me.

Do I have to buy replacement bulbs at a dealership or can I get them at an auto parts store???
most things you don't need to go to a dealership
You can get the bulbs at any auto parts store , I think most Walmarts carry bulbs too - but check availability before going to the store. The Honda store (in video) I went to is near my workplace so was easier for me and not much difference in price. Best wishes!
Actually, try to leave the dealer out of it, if you can. There is an agenda to make cars so complicated that they don't work very long (but have fancy features). Making it difficult to repair outside the dealerships is the goal in manufacturing. Let's give the autoparts store some help in countering this repair Monopoly.

I always have a hard time removing it.
So this time I remember remove it.
By not unplugging the wire twisting it with the plug that way the little things that the light bulb has didn't hurt my fingers.
Then after the light bulbt was released and I unplug it.

You don't need a screwdriver to remove the the cable connector-there is a tab underneath and you can use your finger to disconnect.

Do you plan on upgrading to LEDs?
Good question! Overall I am satisfied with the stock headlights that have small LED lights at the base... and am not aware of additional benefits of upgrading the main bulb to LED so for now not looking to upgrade to LEDs. If there are benefits of LED upgrade please share so me anyone watching the video would benefit. Thanks so much!
