Changing the headlights on your Honda Accord to LEDs can help you see better at night, which is important for safety. This tutorial will help you walk through the steps of swapping your OEM Halogens for brighter LEDs. Huge thanks to AutoOne for allowing me to install and review their headlights for this Tutorial.

Thanks for the vid! Had to update/upgrade my mum's headlights and this helped alot.
And I agree with what u said about the driver's side hassle of moving the battery.
Also, the bulbs you used here are awesome! Very bright and clear.
Just to point this out.
The halogen bulb connector that faces down to 6 o’clock is great for all in one led bulbs because the orientation is an automatic good, to face the led chips left and right.
The 9005 high beam has that same issue like mine.
If those have an angle as shown on the video, u need a led bulb with an adjustable collar, to fix the orientation correctly. That’s what I hate about mine.
My 2015 lifted Scion xB has that.
So I have Lasfit - LD plus switchback H11 with easily nice orientation.
Since my halogen bulb that’s 9005, it’s off angle. So I use Lasfit - LA plus 9005 high beam with a 360 adjustable collar.
To fix the orientation correctly, and have the brightest hotspot as possible, so u can aim the light output way further down the road more. That’s the most important thing.
And plus for just being subjective, it looks sharp when it lines up the reflector housing and it looks elegant.
just changed out mine great explanation !
LED’s FTW.
With the right type of led, and especially performs well and low temperature, these are worth it:
I personally go for an led bulbs with external driver for heat management and longevity, but these have very nice low temperature build up which is a nice option.
So I don’t mind that.
Excellent! Clear and detailed explanation!
Good explanation and video demonstration.
Very useful tutorial. I was looking for changing my honda accord 2014 head light. one head light bulb is gone bad. So, planning to change to led.
Don't change it man . If you change I will come and beat you

Upgrading with led bulb replacement is a must.
@@toyotabronyyeah. I replaced them with Fahren LED bulb from Amazon which is about 200 AED and they are really good light. I am 100% satisfied. Very nice beam pattern. Maybe it's because the projection light casing is already calibrated by Honda so puting any light may give correct beam pattern. I was worried about beam pattern because maximum led bulbs can give bringht light but very few can give good beam pattern. I'm happy using led bulbs in my Honda Accord 2014 2.4 EX-L.
im assuming that these dont need ballast like the older models of led headlights? neat!
Very helpful. Thanks!
Auxito has those led bulbs. And I prefer right from auxito.
They call it 10S. And they get warm up to 141 degrees Fahrenheit. Which is not that bad. And a good option
I have Auxitos on my GX but one bulb has burned out after only a year. We'll call that a fluke but even so, the Auxitos fans are much louder in operation, I can even hear them over the sound of the V8. Pretty wild
@@KJs_Garageyeah ur not supposed to hear a quote cooling fan from Auxito - 10S, unless its a 50W led, those Q16 are quite a bit loud.
Because any led bulbs that builts 150 degrees Fahrenheit or higher is a short lifespan.
Anything under last longer.
I’d recommend 10S, M3 which is 20 degrees Fahrenheit less then 10S, Y13 are the most recommended product for ur low beams.
Q16,,Y19 is better for high beams.
Do you know if the bulbs are DOT approved for public road use in the US?
Honest question, what does it matter? I was a state inspector for NC and never looked at a bulb for DOT approval. The bulbs I failed were an obvious blue, dark yellow, or amber in color for the headlights, as restricted by law. Even without DOT approval, these headlights do not blind oncoming traffic nor violate any color laws. I have upgraded both my car and motorcycle to LEDs and it's only made me safer at night. You can pay $100/pair for Sylvania bulbs or find sets like these for cheaper. No inspector or police officer is going to fail your inspection or ticket you for having these bulbs.
Any led bulbs no matter what brand are not DOT approved.
But that ain’t gonna stop us from buying led bulbs to see better and be seeing better for public roads or not.
It’s much safer, brighter, better, and more confident at night.
And that’s what we do.
Just a question, can you replace bulbs on the 2016-2017 Touring headlights?
I'm sure that's possible but I do not have access to those headlights in order to make a tutorial
@@KJs_Garage ahh, thanks for responding though 👌
Having the same issue with my 2017 accord touring😢
Do these plug and play into a 2013 honda accord sport too?
@@Palmer-gs3wz yes
@@KJs_Garage thanks. What about the light strip underneath the beams? What matching bulb do you recommend? Is currently yellow
Just a question. Can i install these both the high and low beams on honda accord 2009?
Unsure, that's a different model of Accord and it might require a different bulb
9005 and 9006 bulds looks the same as 2004 accord and up
How did d thry hold up
great video
Thanks for the video….the out of sync piano background was driving me crazy
On my 2014 accord, the high beam 9005 bulbs' leds are not in the proper 9 and 3 positions. Did you have the same issue? Mine are 11 and 5 positions. How do I get the proper position?
¿Did you find a way to get the high beams in the 9 and 3 position?
How did you fix the problem? im having the same issue
@@ilanwien3563it’s simple. Find another led bulb with adjustable collar.
This is very common on vehicles or certain vehicles that came with offset halogen bulbs.
I had that in my high beams too.
So I get the 360 adjustable collar of my Lasfit - LA plus 9005 led bulbs.
That’s what u need.
Get those led bulb with an adjustable collar.
Song playing the background?
If you're looking for it, I always give credit to the song used in the description
What about the fogs?
If he has it, it should be H11.
You need to show a whole video with regular lights and changing them to LED so people can see the difference. Need to do the video right
@@Rick-vc4xn the comparison is at the end of the video. It's a massive difference.
great video, annoying background muzak
I disagree. The bg doesn’t interfere with the video for me. Compliments his calm demeanor and instructions
The music is so annoying!!
The music is so awful ugly and creepy too, like watching a scary movie 🎥
@@ilagunas78 what movies are you watching? 😂 It's background jazz, Jesus
Wrong. The music is smooth, jazzy, and chill. Not even awful. Ugly is a wrong word to use for this category.
