Don't you just love under trays, usually held on with every different type of fixing, i did a grand picasso and there were torx bolts 10mm bolts and some cable ties as it had an argument with the scenery. I put in a couple of tec screws as well as the plastic was damaged 😊
Hi Guys, Very enjoyable watching your videos. Especially the mower and strimmer ones for me. I came across one the other day where you "Polished up" the deck and plastic parts with "Pledge Revive it" must have been an old video as the pledge is no longer available. What do you use as an alternative? Thanks for any help. David
Hi Martin just commented on the guy who's restoring the mondeo St he's having a bit of struggle with body work be great to see you do a colab with him get him moving forward on it 😊
2.2 engine that, got same in my Freelander 2, bullet proof engines providing regual servicing is done, not much goes wrong with them, one thing that does go wrong though is the throttle body are controlled by plastic gears which get chewed up after time and it starts making a horrible clicking noise
Think you press any button on the smart key twice and low battery warning will reset. If that does not work they should be a little small button on back of smart key you hold for 15 seconds then it should reset.
It might be expensive but would it not be possible to build a brick garage that covers all areas from the wall to the fence ? You'd get somewhere to work in all weathers then, maybe dig a pit for the undercarriage jobs. Easier said than done though. Planning permission might not be available, but if done there would a lot more comfort to do the business with. I just got a Cosori 8.5 litre Air Fryer, and its your fault :) ! Looking forward to cooking pork crackling on Sunday :)
You know the score on old engines mart just watch you old show on when you stripped you robin engine down what was the music you played me old china good music that marty
Gary is a good mechanic and so is his dad Martin he learns from the best and they are nice kind people with common sense 😊

Same on my sons A4. I don't know why they use so many different size fixings on one under tray!

Some people just use a cheap car lacquer but it will come off. Maybe a quick wipe with WD40 brings back a shine if you are selling them.
Great work again Martin and Gary 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻. Trotter van needs to be on the road. Nearly swore with out hurting yourself mate 😂😂

The knowledge you two have I think you should have your own garage❤
Had the same problem on our old Insignia. Thankfully was easier to get to on that!
