@canadianconcretepumper1979 oh, btw, you should consider using sponge bobs fitting the hoses to reduce the chance of plugging up with your old residue! My so far short experience tells me that the residue tends to plug up in the last hose. BTW. Check your concrete slurry that the cement is compatible with the ready mix batches. As I've heard, some of them don't match. If you are going for everything inside the form!
@@lagresomadsl So I completely agree with you on the sponges. Pulling back the sponge I have full confidence that my hoses are clean and I’m comfortable just tossing them back onto the truck. With the paper sack, unless I’m heading directly to another job, I’ll give them a rinse before loading them up. I just haven’t gotten in dialed in enough to where I’m confined that the hoses are 100% clean, and with the 2” hose which I mostly run, even just a little bit of residual buildup can make for a not so great start to the next days pour.
@@lagresomadsl So with in regard to the cement primer: for finished architectural work or topping floors, we still catch it in a bucket and/or dispose of it outside of the pour area. We just can’t take the risk in terms of potential inconsistencies in colour or finish.
