I appreciate "real/honest opinions" and constructive critiques. I'm a 55 year old musician who's favorite band from this centry is Jinjer.
Saw 'em and met 'em. Nothing you said/felt should have bothered any fan. I would suggest exploring the lyrics. Tatiana is a gifted writer.
I look forward to your next Jinjer react. BTW, Vlad does have two hi-hats and the Bass player (Eugene) is the same from Pieces. Cheers! 🍻

Imagine a band like them playing for the first time in this very big and famous Metal festival, being "shoved" down the lineup into a secondary stage at 11 AM (yeah, freakin' AM!) and on top of that having to cut their setlist short due to stage gear problems (not their gear). Did all of this discourage them? Not a chance! They were there to play, that huge crowd was there to see them (despite the early hours), so they gave it all, as they usually do. 🤘😆🤘

Oh well, it is what it is... You're not a big name, you don't get prime time, regardless of how good you are. And you never will, unless your fans elevate you to one of the big acts.

All the bass work is awesome but if you really want to hear it on display you should check out Who Is Gonna Be the One live and Judgement and Punishment one take vocal performance. It really shows off her vocals and that song has one of my favorite bass lines. 🖤

I just saw them live with 2 other bands. The first two drummers were flailing around wildly, but their playing was meh. Vlad is so calm and relaxed, but his feel and grooves are insane. Give me musicianship over “showmanship” please. Watch them live in Melbourne, great camera work, great sound and of course expert playing. Plus so many styles of music.

As you move through their catalog of songs you'll notice line up changes. Videos for songs such as "I Speak Astronomy" and "Just Another" had their previous drummer. If you ever check out the video for "Outlander", you'll notice there was a second guitarist at one time.

Good reaction. To see another epic performance I agree with Leon, react to "Who is Going to be the One" (Live, Napalm Records) recorded at Atlas Weekend. It demonstrates the musical skill of the band and why Tatiana is one of the best front women in the business. (subbed)

Ultimate-Ears FTW. Next up: "Who is gonna be the one" with some very nice bass licks. The drummer is indeed jazz trained but as a pianist :) He moonlights as a drummer in this band.

Great reaction David, that's the beauty of music and us huge Jinjer fans, we all have our favorites, nobody is wrong when they have a particular favorite Jinjer song, or love certain songs more than other ones. Me personally, Perennial is my current 4th favorite Jinjer song. I'm going to suggest possibly reacting to my personal favorite Jinjer song as a future reaction, and that song is Pit of Consciousness live in Kiev/Kyiv. The OMV is awesome, but thier live performance is something to behold, it's phenomenal. Anyhow keep up the great reactions and analysis, and as always, stay Metal. 😊🤘🤘🤘🤘🎶🎶🎶🎶

Agreed 100% with everything you said. I have 2 #1 songs... Beggars Dance and Wallflower. I feel like Tatiana and the band showcase their true talents in those 2 songs, P.O.C. live is in 2nd place in my list of favorites. Imo, Tatiana showcases her growling range in that song. She is so talented, that she has as much range in her growls as she has in her cleans and I've not seen any other extreme vocalist with anything close to her range. Tatiana has reset the bar 🔥🔥🔥🤘💥💥💥

Bass player eugene is the same as in the pisces video hes been in the band since 2011. Its the drummer that has changed a few times .as regards tatiana’s vocals it was more about her doing the same in front of the audience not really bringing anything new compared to what you’ve already seen.tatiana is always the focal point with Eugene occasionaly interacting as regards stage presence .for me theres enough there with great songs great band with tatiana’s great stage presence it never even crosses my mind so long as the music’s good.other than that great reaction 👍🏻🤘🏻

The thing with this performance of Perennial is that it really needs familiarity with the studio version. Then you have the understanding of just how good of a performance it is. That being said I would guess Perennial is rarely a Jinjer fan's favorite song compared to others and this is a fair reaction and review, so no one should be offended.

You did a lot of grunge bands, and others close to it RHCP etc. Do you know Tatiana covers a Nirvana song and an A.I.C. song? It's sort of funny/odd that a lot of their songs are strong, along with their lyrics. It's hard to imagine living in a bus with Putin as your neighbor, attacking your country for years

Good reaction - as always I`d say (and mean 😉)
So, talking about a build-up, I`d recommend actually three Jinjer songs:
"Wallflower", a very smooth song with a gigantic build-up, changing the character of that song... slightly 😁
"Vortex", also from the newest album: The best example for destroying a song elaborately in the best, most decent way, an epic way. If you know Holst`s "Mars", well, they don`t start like that, but further along the song... By the way, it may also been written by Vlad, the drummer and only one in the band who had a classical education. Yes, he plays Rachmaninov on the piano, covers metal songs on the electric guitar and wrote most of the song on "Wallflowers", their new album!
"Teacher, Teacher" from the same album as "Perennial", a ride on a rollercoaster without knowing where it may end...

My controversial least favorite Jinjer song is I Speak Astronomy. Like you said about this one, it doesn't mean I don't like the song I just like it least. Still love all Jinjer, but they can't all be everyone's favorite song.

Interesting how lately in the metal genre two bands Jinjer and Spiritbox have sparked and gained popularity for reaction videos. Both have female vocalists who growl and sing which may be shocking to people. Funny thing is both singers have been in bands for a long while. I guess it caught on.

Love her and Saiki from band maid.
David Tatiana is Live performance Singer she gets like an extra nuclear reactor in the ass and is incredibly live because everything is then one take performance and then she is at her best.
Do not take what I say the wrong way she is good in the studio but she is incredibly live when she does one take performance and gets the flow.

Tatiana is definitely the best growler, male or female, that I've heard. I'm sorry I'm not subscribed to your channel and won't be. You may not agree with my reasons, but I know you will understand them. I have so many channels already that on the days they all post it is difficult to impossible to watch all their videos that day. And I wish I could subscribe to every channel, but then there would be so many notices that I couldn't even find those I would most want to see. That being said, I found you by your reaction to Voiceplay. Voiceplay, along with Pentatonix and Home Free, are the best A Capella groups, so good that on many of their songs it's easy to forget they are A Capella. You should definitely check out Adam Rupp of Home Free doing a "Drum Solo". Although Van Canto would probably be more to your taste, seeing as they do metal covers, but they aren't true A Capella because they have a drummer. Now here are some other artists that are worth doing at least one reaction to, because with their talent they are as surprising as Tatiana of Jinjer. Because you like Jazz, it's surprising you haven't done anything by the Barefoot Princess of Norway, a Queen of Jazz, Angelina Jordan, start with "I Put A Spell On You" (black and white version), a Screaming J Hawkins cover, NOT Disney. Next the best vocalist alive, possibly ever, Dimash Kudibeirgen, the usual starting point is "S.O.S.". Others of note with the best song to start with are, Aurora "Murder Song 54321" live at The Nobel Peace Prize concert, Marcelito Pamoy "The Prayer", the TNT Boys "Flashlight", Diana Ankudinova "Wicked Game", So Hyang "You Raise Me Up" and Hua Chenyu "Nunchucks". And here are some other metal bands that you would enjoy, Ninjen Isu "Heartless Scat", Alien Weaponry "Kai Tangata" and The Wagakki band "Homura + Akatsuki No Ito".
