We have made it to our final day of our 5 Day Scrap series, Where I give you 5 pattern for 5 days to bust your stash. Today we are working on crochet shoes with flip flops. You might recognize the shell stitch pattern from our wine glass holder! These crochet Sandals are sewn onto the flip flop using an invisible stitch. This way you can not see the thread on the outside of your crochet slippers with flip flop soles. So grab your scrap yarn & lets complete this scrap yarn series!

Are you asking how to create the holes? I use a metal needle. it pierces right thru the rubber flip flop. If you are wondering if the yarn rips thru the flip flop....I used yarn to sew it on instead of thread, which can acted like a slicer. The yarn is bulkier and thicker. I hope I was able to answer your question🙂

You can plug the holes by using the pieces u cut off. Stick them back in the holes from the bottom up and use e6000 glue.
