That is the thing about Eddie, some people just do not know how many great tunes he has, just throw on a You Tube playlist and it will be one after the other, you say to yourself, man I forgot about that one.
Eddie songs were very underrated as was his music. It wasn’t just pop rock his songs had complexity and the fact he played so many instruments as well as singing, mad props to him. RIP. I know you’ve been waiting so long, but you’ve finally made it to Paradise 🏝
RIP Money Man. You rocked us great for a long time and made many people happy. Thanks for the memories. You were a talented and decent man. May your ticket have let you into paradise immediately. God Bless EM 9/13/19
A guy that did what he wanted in his life, took chances and became a great musician and artist, against the odds ( Respect)... A real Rock star, so sad he just left us. RIP Eddie.
I read a story from a guy responding to the belittling of EM in Maxim magazine and he said he was at Spring Break and Eddie played a show in this tent and they told someone associated with the show that they had a good time but that EM didn't play "their song". Before they could leave he had everyone in the band back on stage and played the song for this couple, their own private show. If that doesn't break your heart a little, you don't have one. Rock on Eddie.
Как создавалось песня The Show Mast Go On.
This is why I love the internet - I came to look up a song I heard somewhere on TV, and after skipping from one "Related video" to another I am here, finding a great song I probably would have never found other way - the CD stores I used to go to listen to different CD's are long gone, as are the people sharing their music-collections with me. Thank you for uploading.
Saw Eddie play in Frankfurt, Germany in the Late 80’s. He rocked the house so loud in the front row that I tried and discovered Gummi Bears make great earplugs!
That little turn he would do when performing was his trademark among his classic singing style. So great$. Such an under rated musician. Eddie you were a treasure!
Rock In Peace Eddie and thanks for the music but especially the live shows that always rocked! The shite in 2023 can't even be called music anymore! 60s 70s 80s 90s had the best Rock, Hard Rock and Metal ever!
I'm praying for you to feel better! I've always loved your music. My friend and I met you around 1988 in Portland Maine I knew Chris Solberg and Rob get well!
God bless the Internet! I’ve been searching for this song and in particular, this video for almost 40 years, and at long last here it is! It’s a great song, but since his other hits were much bigger, this one seemed to have disappeared almost altogether. As with many videos of this era, they may have had a loose idea for story and then just tried to shoot cool stuff be experimental and try out different things. Occasionally, there would be one or two moments in a video that would stick and be memorable. For me, it was the shot of his hand seemingly pulsating in an otherwise unnatural way, almost like it’s undulating. It reminded me of the ad for the movie Altered States, where William Hurt’s character is slamming against the wall as his body is undergoing some sort of metamorphosis and at one point, he looks at his forearm and there are ripples moving up and down his arm. For the Eddie Money hand, since this was all way before CGI, I think they just used a piece of glass and rocked it over the palm of his hand to flatten it out one section at a time.
RIP Sir I cut my teeth on your music forever a fan. So many songs could have been so much more I’m So glad I was able to find your cassettes when I was young May God rest your soul and make um all Sing in Heaven. I’m going to a local graveyard and listening to that amazing song. “ passing by a Graveyard “.
Eddie "officially" opened the summer concert season in Detroit for years! I saw him a dozen times over the years and loved every second of those shows! A lot of love for the Money Man from the unofficial Detroit suburb of Windsor!!
@@ZobethCThis was his most consistent album. Before I dove into his albums, I figured his debut or Can't Hold Back would be the top albums. I was mistaken.
RIP Eddie. Loved your music. Was fortunate to meet you. I was friends with your bass player Chris Solberg and Rob. Way back in the late 80s. Music isn't the same as the 70s and 80s. Loved how you became a family man and have a beautiful family!!
