  • I am Arun Muthyalampally ACE certified Personal Trainer. This video is about doing dumbbell lateral raise in a right way.
    - If you are beginner or intermediate don't try to lift the dumbbells both at a time because we never use this muscle on daily basis so its hard for your brain to efficiently send signal and active the muscle fibers. so the dominant muscle will do good.
    - Don't just swing the dumbbells it is very important to activate the working muscle so connect your mind to the working muscle. Focus on the movement.
    - These muscles are close to your neck so if you don't engage your core, then your neck takes the pressure. And don't look down, looking down hurts your neck.
