You can also add a Plane Reflection probe onto the floor, to avoid the torn screen-space reflections that can't reflect the bottom of the car, for example.
Hahaha oops! lol! Saying "add more samples" feels to simple, thats why i wanted to leave it out😂 Thank you for the nice comment. Best of luck with your renders!
Thank you this helps a lot, however, when I render my scene I get objects clipping, a random line through it, or it is stuck at 0% for hours and doesn’t render (on Eevee). I’m not sure what the problem is :/
hi im not sure but are u dutch. i can tell from ur accent. but i wanna ask something actually. do u think that if i improve my 2d 3d art that i can find a well paying job. bc i want to do animations. and im not rlly into creating logos or commercials. and what u create looks really good. keep up the work ! and thank u
yeah im dutch. thank you for the nice words! i think that if you get good in 2d/3d art that it is possible to find freelance jobs or sell assets that you make online!
Rendering in Blender Eevee is much less intense than rendering using the Blender Cycles render engine. I think that you can definitely use a 1070 gpu when rendering in Eevee (of-course with a slower gpu it may take longer but you can surely do it! remember to go into the Blender settings and turn on your GPU if it isn't turned on yet!).
as far as i know it takes a lot of time to bake lights, and i don't think that it would be worth baking lights for simply rendering scenes. i think that baking lights is more useful if you're trying to make a 3d game level. but i've very little experience with baking lights so i'd advice you to look for more information!
Part 3 talks about the world shader editor. As visible in the video I removed the 'background color' node from the world output. If you recreate the same node system as shown in the video, you will get the same results👍

i've never heard of that, I will check it out! Thanks for commenting on it!
Not talking about adding samples. Proceeds to add 400 samples!!! LOL!
Great video. This was awesome!

Thank you for the nice comment! I'm glad that the video helped you!
best lighting tutorial ever !
Fantastic Work, my Friend, thanks for sharing this!!
Just a side note 2:40. You can change the colour of the ambient occlusion to storing other than black... Like brown or yellow
Asking out of curiosity, what would be the benefit of doing that?

@@twanoligschlaeger okay thank u bc im doing media & design for school (media vormgeving)
Can this be done with a 1070 gpu?

@@twanoligschlaeger I wanted to know if i could get the same exact effect like in your video with it? Thank you for responding
If you turn on the exact same settings as I did in the video, then yeah you'll get the same results no matter which gpu or computer you use.
@@twanoligschlaeger Ok thanks again.
what about baking lights?

It will render faster then cycle render ? And how much ? Plz reply.
Eevee will render much faster than cycles, and it will have much less noise. Eevee can be up to 12 times faster than cycles.
How just you jumped from part 2 to 3 and have that environment lighting from white to cinematic
