there is one cute german guy who helped me to find my train at Berlin hbf, it was night (the last train of the day) and there are few people and so damn cold in february 2014. he cant really speak english and i dont understand german but still he helped me. when we cant make sure which one is my train he said, "if no train, you can come to my home" haha... but it turns out we are going in the same train.he stopped after an hour and i continued my journey to Strasbourg. Am sorry i didnt sit with you because i was so tired and my bag is so heavy and my seat turned out to be a bed, lol. Thank you for talking with me when everybody is ignoring me and thank you for helping me to find my train and seat. i wish i asked you what is your name. hope one day we can meet again, well who knows hehe ^_^

Ha ha ha......are Germans really that direct? You just ask a girl directly if you want to sleep with her?? I mean....in our part of the world, guys usually beat about the bush and a few forests, go around the planet earth, perhaps pass by the moon then finally we indirectly suggest to invite her to "spend the night" with the option of separate rooms.
There are stupid men which are direct like that, but I´m sure, that they won´t have success with women! If you want to be polite, you shouldn´t ask that directly!

Yeah, so I'm from the US and went to Germany for the first time this summer. I knew no German but left with a German boyfriend whom I love dearly.
I had to laugh so hard at this video but it's great! He is coming to the US next summer, so I can't wait to see his culture shock or lack there of. Until then, I'll use your videos to keep learning German and hopefully he'll be impressed ;)

What about a flirting guide? I know it sounds weird but I've heard a lot of rumors about german men being very shy and cold towards women. I also heard that girls are the ones who approach men instead of backwards and I'd like to know how if that's ok and how could I do it without offending German culture.
Yes ...thats often right..that why we need all the beer to get loosen. And yes ..in all their desperation the girls often make the first move..but i think most of us like it if the guy does the first move...out of fear of rejection...but most men dont like it if a women is direct, it seems..someone told me its because it make you look easy to get?
How: For me, be proactive, but not needy or dribble. I want be wanted but not needed. Show interest in the personality (because feminism :) , make her laugh..

I like my classmate who is a german exchange student but i dont know what i should do.... we ended up being in the same group for our group assignment and ahhhhhh i loved every minute of having to have meetings and stuff but he is leaving in a month and i feel like there is no chance anymore. i kinda feel like he likes me but i dont know. i try to text him sometimes, and only ask him stuff about homework so its not obvious i like him and he doesnt try to make a conversation but always reply with lots of smiley in one text, okay maybe he doesn't like me the way i like him now that i am reading what i am about to post.
