Oh, thank you, Arturo. I loved making this particular video, celebrating the Biennale di Venezia, although thematically it has nothing to do with the aria. ;-) I enjoy going in an unexpected direction, sometimes, pushing the boundaries of how baroque music is normally represented in YT videos. I also love the bulls on the pianos- when I was researching past Biennale artwork, these certainly stood out! There are a couple of lyrical arias on this recital album that are exquisite, especially "Momorando quelle fronde." I'm quite sure you will relish that confection. :)
