This is such a great song, and I am sitting here almost crying because it is really hurting me. There is someone I like, someone I like dearly... but I cannot tell if we are just friends or if he feels something more either... but I don't want to ruin our friendship. Like this song... about a girl struggling to not say certain words that could ruin a relationship built perfectly... only to realize that her hopes were dashed. I don't know what to do. I can't ask him, because then I fear I will lose him. It's more complicated than that even as well... there are outside factors that affect it all and I don't know what to do. I just... I don't want to lose him.

I went thru this when I was younger. My best advice is to go for it. Tell the person you like that you like them. Life is too short to live like this. I promise, life won’t be as horrible as you think if they don’t like you back. But the fact that you TRIED & had the courage to tell them your feelings is all that matters. Well, to add on to it... I told him and turns out he really likes me as well. But as I wrote, there are outside factors that would prevent us from doing anything for quite some time. I explained this to him, and he understood... but he's such an idiot that he says he is willing to wait, that I am worth it, and that he's going to try everything possible to keep me. Part of me adores that, that he's so good to me so far... but I know that a future together is impossible for various reasons... and I have told him that, but he wants to hang on... so now we are simply happy together, in this flirty type of friendship knowing we both are attracted to each other, but that we cannot have each other.
