Everyone and their mother claims they have "sensitive skin," only to find out they simply aren't using products that agree with their skin. It's beyond annoying... Thank you for preaching the truth!
I think this is an excellent example of why I don't take any skincare advice from celebrity routine videos 😕 they have no idea why they're doing what they do 😅 Thanks for the reaction, Susan. Enjoy your videos! 💜
33 yr old here and I just started wearing sunscreen 😔 I had the same attitude I will deal with it later AND BOY I WISH I HAD found your videos SOONER!!! TY SUSAN for all the great info!!! love these kind of videos bringing so much awareness to your community appreciated ❤️ Also LOVE LOVE NIKKI ❤️ 😍 💖
Oh, my goodness. I love that you addressed the misconception about products breaking people out. I also needed medication to deal with acne and worried for over a decade that certain new products were causing breakouts when I just had acne that needed professional help.
Susan, I’ll never stop admiring your beauty😍 you look amazing, this makeup and hair color suits you so much, definitely a role model🙌🏼 thank for these reactions, most favourite videos of all times💯
I have no idea how old she is but her routine is 100x better than my shitty proactive routine in high school that irritated the hell out of my skin. She is lucky she knows about all of these products at a young age and sees a dermatologist. Her skin looks really good and if she keeps it up, she will be happy she did later in life.
I'm so confused by this routine! There's so much artificial fragrance and even eucalyptus oil in La mer, idk why anyone who thinks they have sensitive skin would use it
I even started applying spf to my 10 year old daughter before school. She says “mom it’s not even sunny” I said I don’t care it can still hurt your skin 🤪
I wonder if part of the reason she's not wearing sunscreen is because chemical sunscreens have been so demonized (not by Susan) & Charlie just hates the way mineral sunscreens feel & look. Maybe if she found a nice chemical sunscreen that lays under her make up easily, she would wear it everyday.
I have acne prone dry sensitive skin too. It's puzzling. TO get enough moisture so I'm not dry and wrinkly I break out (and yes I double cleanse). It's quite frustrating
i did not sleep when i was in HS, it is no badge of honor😅 i had to be out of the house by 430am and back not until 8pm, multi sport, lessons, sunday school, there wasn't a day where i didn't have something going on........get some sleep!😂
I can attest that wearing sunscreen makes you look years younger when you're older. Everyone always thinks my. mom is 15-20 years younger than she is. She always emphasized that I wear sunscreen daily. She has done the same since 16 years old.
This was a great learning video for younger viewers! Yes she should be sending a different message to her young audience they r gonna follow her and not use sunscreen I think she thinks it's not a big deal!
I had dry skin my whole life, but because it was dry, I barely got acne when I was a teen. I started doing a real skincare routine at 25, and ever since then I've been having adult acne. Is it because I'm finally getting hydration?
Hello! Highly doubtful. It's probably due to hormone shifts, or possibly stress. I had very clear skin with the occasional monthly breakout for years, but then I changed companies in September, and holy moly, my skin kinda freaked out. Nothing in my skincare routine or diet had changed; it was all stressed related. Perhaps that's your case, too.
interesting that she did a skincare routine video 2 years ago with Hyram where he recommended products for her but I guess she haven't really stick to that routine
Interested in thoughts for kids (also can see being a conflict of interest giving minor advice on the internet, not being a pediatrician). Knowing more about sun UV prevention and childhood skin damage - if you're starting littles off with sunscreen, what's your stance on daily (inside day near a window) vs. as needed (or just when going outside in direct sun)? Do you then do a face wash daily after a mineral sunscreen on a kiddo? Or is starting in the puberty/teen years the best option? #momproblems
Colour me confused. Hope they wear their sunscreen under makeup... To give credit where it's due, some products are okay, and if these work for them, yay! At least they know quite some ways in skin care. Unlike my 13-year-old self that knew double cleansing was going in with a bar soap, then an alcohol astringent, and sunscreen was expensive and formulas were too gloopy and uncomfortable to wear that I deemed the sun shield optional and just to wear it during pool days or when it is summer (or the beach vacation season where I'm from)😅I'm definitely paying the price years later - the routine was "okay" and skin felt alright despite the tiiiightness but I was young back then lol. Learning about recent skin care science and using retinoids did wonders when I started it yeaaaars later down the line, but yeah, it can only do so much and it is a slow process. But yeah, there's room for improvement 🙏 Prevention is better than cure I think.
Kindof wondering why she even did a skincare routine, because she really didn't. A hot mess. Sometimes I feel like celebrities say omg I used to have acne, I struggled with my skin to be more relatable to us regular folks. She comes off so inauthentic. Coming off as a gifted pr (lemier products I see you)
I have not found a sunscreen available in Canada that does not drive my sensitive acne prone oil skin just nuts. I have a few choices if i am going to the beach or something but everyday no way. I am in the middle of the retinol uglys right now and its even more sensitive
😂 absolutely agree. Feels like she did it just cause it’s the thing celebrities are doing on these big platforms regarding skin care and makeup with no education and another teeny popper being irrelevant
Ditch the La Mer skin cream and switch to NIVA from the Germany Amazon page. I live in the U.S. and got it within 2 week. Wow!! NIVA is the best and it got rid of my undereye wrinkles after using it for a couple of nights. Now I use it every single night. It's only $12.00 for a HUGH tin.
This girl's routine confused me. She said she is acne-prone, sensitive and then dry? Why would you use oil if you're acne prone? Her products probably cause some of her skin concerns, she definitely just needs to find out her actual skin type and use products accordingly.
You have no idea that her derm didn’t recommend her to use sunscreen. Lots of patients don’t follow doctors recommendations. Seems nasty of you to talk badly of the derm when you don’t even know what went on in the appointment.
You're right she isn't, but she's worked in the beauty industry for 2 decades and has her own skincare brand. So I would say she knows more than a teenaged tik tocker
Everyone and their mother claims they have "sensitive skin," only to find out they simply aren't using products that agree with their skin. It's beyond annoying... Thank you for preaching the truth!
1000% agree. I used to think I had sensitive skin but realized I’m dumb and it was from using products with essential oils and not realizing it
I think this is an excellent example of why I don't take any skincare advice from celebrity routine videos 😕 they have no idea why they're doing what they do 😅
Thanks for the reaction, Susan. Enjoy your videos! 💜

@Makeup Me I started at 37. Looks like we're both a bit late, but better late than never 💖
You are still young! Glad you started
Same I started only during the pandemic after 20 plus years of sun worshipping. Ugh
Oh, my goodness. I love that you addressed the misconception about products breaking people out. I also needed medication to deal with acne and worried for over a decade that certain new products were causing breakouts when I just had acne that needed professional help.
yesssss!
Thanks for bringing back reaction videos! These brought me joy during the lockdown era
Yes! I missed these so much :)
I really missed these reaction videos Susan! Keep them coming please 😍❤️ this is how you got me into skincare and I’m so thankful!!!!
When I first started doing an actual skincare routine I noticed that just cleansing (especially with an active cleanser) will make all the difference.
Susan, I’ll never stop admiring your beauty😍 you look amazing, this makeup and hair color suits you so much, definitely a role model🙌🏼 thank for these reactions, most favourite videos of all times💯

Thank you Susan you don’t go easy on them . ..you also looked so sad when she didn’t use a sunscreen :)
I have been going to dermatologists for years to treat my acne and not a SINGLE one of them told me to use sunscreen!!! Thank god for UA-cam.
Shows that doctors aren't all they're cracked up to be. How do you go to school for 8 years and not know even the most basic of information?
Same!!
Of course we want more of this...We love your reaction videos ❤
So excited to watch this!! I was just binge watching your other reactions 💗
YES! WE WANT MORE!!!
Liked already!!! Loads of love from India! We have great skincare here in India! You should give it a try Susan!
I even started applying spf to my 10 year old daughter before school. She says “mom it’s not even sunny” I said I don’t care it can still hurt your skin 🤪
👏👏👏
Love your reactions videos, Susan ❤

Your outfit it so cute!❤

My sister as well. Definitely makes it difficult to deal with.
Me too! Tretonoin was a game changer though
@@Brittneybamf tretinoin is the way to go!

Yaaasss!!! From the Philippines here!!!🥰😍😃🤍💖🤍✨✨✨💫
How do you feel about the SPF in Jane Iredale pressed mineral face powder? Is that enough on its own?
The OG La Mer is very thick for me, but the La Mer Soft Cream is perfect, lighter, not greasy and doesn’t cause milia on me
I love this type of videos!! I learn so much!! Please return to doing more!!!
She’s gonna “deal with that later” with the sensitivity. I wonder what her dermatologist thinks of her routine 😹
Dermatologists sometimes recommend their clients bad products to keep them coming back for more advice and recommendation.
This was a great learning video for younger viewers! Yes she should be sending a different message to her young audience they r gonna follow her and not use sunscreen I think she thinks it's not a big deal!

@@kendallstark4302 thanks for your insight! I definitely am more stressed now as an adult than I was as a teen lol. So maybe it is that

So what about someone with dry skin struggling with breakouts?
I feel like I learn so much about skin care from Susan
Hi Susan, can you please react to brenda songs skin care routine. I believe it’s on harpers bazaar.
Thanks you :) maybe we could have a reaction video to a more mature face ?

Aww don’t blame her derm; how many of us never listen to our doctor’s advice lol? Mine told me to stop exfoliating but I’m sorry I can’t give that up.
Haha! Truth.
Can you put your sheet masks in the fridge to add to depuffing?
That's a great idea.
You sound like such a disappointed mum 😂

YAYYYYY aunty Susan
I hope her teenage fans don’t follow her down the La Mer path 😅
I hope she's not on accutane as she's not using SPF!
Wait… does she wash her face?
I have not found a sunscreen available in Canada that does not drive my sensitive acne prone oil skin just nuts. I have a few choices if i am going to the beach or something but everyday no way. I am in the middle of the retinol uglys right now and its even more sensitive
Oh to be young again lol I’d do a lot differently! I remember using Body Shop body butter as my face moisturizer as a teen lol Oye!!!
I mean did we really think Charlie would actually have a good skincare routine? Come on now lol.
😂 absolutely agree. Feels like she did it just cause it’s the thing celebrities are doing on these big platforms regarding skin care and makeup with no education and another teeny popper being irrelevant
It works for her

I love that Susan thinks she's a millennial😂
I love my oily skin. I still look like if I was in my 20s, I'm actually 35. 😊
I love/hate my oily skin. Love that I don’t have wrinkles, hate that I still get acne at 43 😅
Not La Merrrrrrr 😫. Turn and learn those ingredients. Way overpriced and nothing special in those products! Oh man.
Who is she
A tiktoker probably 😅
She’s a tik toker!
🙄 lol
I just assume all these randos are tiktokers

Who else thinks Susan looks 32 instead of 42?
Omg seems like a what NOT yo do on your skincare routine 😢 so sad because she has so much influence in young people 🥺
It’s what works for her
That kid is gonna look 35 at 25. Sigh. Well, she will learn the hard way
You have no idea that her derm didn’t recommend her to use sunscreen. Lots of patients don’t follow doctors recommendations. Seems nasty of you to talk badly of the derm when you don’t even know what went on in the appointment.
You are not a dermatologist or any kind od physician to be reviewing and promoting any skincare advices or products...
You're right she isn't, but she's worked in the beauty industry for 2 decades and has her own skincare brand. So I would say she knows more than a teenaged tik tocker
You obviously don't know her then. You'll just be a footnote.
