Susan: a lot of people don’t treat their hair the way they do their skin, there is a type. Me: smiles in 4c, low porosity, medium density product junkie
I commend you all on this thread for all the love you give to your hair. I have fine straight hair and when it’s super knotty I feel like I’m close to having a meltdown once my arm gets tired.
Hmmm good to know! I'd love to know what products she uses or if that's just genetics on how smooth and frizz-free the hair is. Or maybe it is just hot rollers! Never tried it.
Love her, but it sounds like she really does have great genetics (and perhaps professional treatments/recourses not shared in the video). She’s such a classic beauty!
Omg you have got to watch good girls!!! It was so amazing! I can’t wait for season 4 to come to Netflix! She is amazing and I’m so drawn to her energy!
As a master esthetician, my friends and family come to me for skin care advice and what to use and naturium has been my go to prescription for them. It's also super affordable and I looove it for myself.
Just wanted to say your videos are always such a breath of fresh air, I love how much you lift up other women and any ‘criticisms’ or discussions are always constructive
@@lily_white actually she commented on the people that used the video as a means of actually disrespecting Gwyneth and claiming that she looked old etc. because it is a low ball comment. I wash my hair in the bathtub at night and YES :) we submerge all our hair and the. I have a cup I will get fresh clean cold water for final rinse from faucet
I never see anybody show this but to me learning to do facials the most important step is after you clean your hair fill your sink with hot water and put a towel over your head it will steam your pores leaving the brilliantly clean.Or take a wet towel out of the dryer and wrap it over your face 15 minutes try it
I love her! I bet she would love the Naturium Retinol Cream, Sleeping Mask, and Ceramide Cream! I hope you send them to her somehow! It is kind of weird she doesn't even have niacinamide in her routine. I wish we could learn what kind of sunscreens she uses.
I love the Elemis rose cleansing balm 🥰🌹 I can't stand the original and the neroli scents but I am excited about the new fragrance free one 😊 Also Christina Hendricks is just amazing 😍 Her routine not so much...
My whole family takes baths and i used to take them a lot, we all definitely submerge our hair and wash it in the bathtub! didn't realize how rare of a thing this was until i would mention "taking a tub" and people would be like "what" 😂
I feel like my reactive skin would not handle hair products in the water like that, I always wash my neck and back after conditioning my hair. Sounds relaxing, though.
Benzoyl Peroxide is more of a preventative than a spot treatment. Best to use a BHA to unclog the pore. Differin is a wonderful product and over the counter now.
I think if you're in a rush, you can use micellar water instead of makeup wipes. For people with dry skin, there are so many hydrating cleansers out there!
Just a sidenote: I'm a bather myself and at least the way I do it, and (I think?) the way Christina does it as well most likely, especially considering she bathes at night, is probably she does her skincare routine at the sink first(including removing makeup), and then she bathes. I mean I've never heard of anyone bathing with makeup on. Is that a thing? Maybe only for occasional bathers. If you do it on a regular basis I don't think you'd do something as messy and unsanitary as that.
She won’t. Gwyneth made mistakes yes. But there was a very big anti Gwyneth movement which looked more like a means of finding a way to dis a middle aged rich woman than much. Look at Gwyneth in the internet, does she look her age? Compare her to regular women and not actresses. If she looks her age then she screwed up on products yes but no one should he Sayjng she looks like a rag and super old. She’s not.
Hey so you educate us on facial skincare. I was wondering if you could educate us on skincare for the rest of the body. Eg. I’m oily on my face but the rest of my body is super dry and I struggle with that but I also have acne on my back combined with dry skin. I still have no idea how to deal with it and I’m 32😩🤦🏾♀️
I wanted to know best alternatives to retinoid and vit c, if your skin is super sensitive? My skin is extra dry, dehydrated yet acne prone, blemished and blackheads. I use Micelar water by bioderma to remove makeup, Dr Sam's skincare is drying my face,Cerave/Cetaphil is hydrating yet causes breakouts and sensitivity remains maybe due to air conditioning and wearing mask? I wish to find a lovely sunscreen that doesn't feel sticky or greasy, like my kids? Something to maintain fair complexion, please recommend something? I wish she shared her hand wash, body wash & body moisturiser, lip balm, face mist foundation shade fairest , all favourite things CH ? Actually need your advice Susan Yara , please that would make me look amazing like her but addressing my skin not causing problems? I am also a brunette and get root touch weekly ,which blue or purple shampoo you use? And best for kids too, I observe my son's naturally brown hair keep on changing colour with different shampoos
Are oil-based cleansers still the best option for removing makeup when you have oily / combination skin? I love the concept but only seem to see them used by people with dry skin!
Honestly before the Naturium rich moisture cream I didn’t moisturize as much because I honestly don’t like the feel of a heavy moisturizer even though I do have dry skin. Like I have the skinfix moisture and I use it every night because it’s great but during the day the Naturium moisturizer is my go to because it just feels so much more hydrating to me. To me it’s like a texture in between a gel moisturizer and a true occlusive moisturizer like CeraVe and it’s what I prefer.
I just found this channel and love it! But I’m so confused when I search for it bc of the “mixed make up” channel name. Why not change it to mixed skin care or something
they don't! i learned that when my cousin went to france and she showered twice a day (night and morning) and they thought she had a skin condition lol we're brazilian

as a fellow redhead with pale skin like Christina just touching my eyes makes them red. It's not being rough or tugging, it just the nature of our skin tone/undertone.
These routines have way too many steps and are without any actual logic. If you want a logical nighttime skincare routine: (1) double cleanse; (2) moisturize; and (3) Tretinoin. This is a 10X more effective routine than what we just saw. I use avene’s xeracalm oil cleanser followed by vanicream’s gentle facial cleanser. I then immediately follow that up with Vanicream in the tub to my damp skin. Let dry for 20 min, then apply Tretinoin. Cured my clogged pores, acne, and rosacea. My morning routine is also super simple: (1) Azelaic acid + niacinamide; (2) EltaMD tinted mineral sunscreen. Skincare should be science and evidence based; not based on the smell of a product or the way it looks. Be better people!!!
