Going to get this exact model here in another month or two. It'll go great with my CT200U and CT200U EXV. This one I'm going to leave stock except for the throttle stop/ zip tie mod. Happy trails!
Only thing I dislike about this bike is the welds I've got one in the shop down to the frame fixing the crap welds for the price of stage kits buy a ducar 212 or a Tillotson 212e 212r you will hit over 45 50 depending on weight but thier is a an upgrade brake kit on Amazon for 20 bucks works really well last long time also the ct200u racks you can buy and bolt right on the bt200x in Canada come with the racks on them since they don't sell the ct200u in stores new sub love mini bikes been riding building them for 30 years
Best mods without getting engine crazy for the Coleman 200's are Stage 1 kit, backed out throttle screw, Torque Converter, and a 60 tooth sprocket. With these mods there's no need for governor removal, zip tie tricks, or opening the engine. You will have very nice low end and 40 mph.
All this is for is for trail riding if you looking for speed go with a 10tooth an a 48 sprocket protape chain gold 420 an a stage kit an straight chain it you will get 💯 60 plus
That is the best model. The thing is a tank. And takes lots of abuse. Had mine almost 2 years. My ct200u-ex has weld issues. Fender fell off after 4 months.
All i did was cut the governor screw off. I can never hold full throttle in the desert anyways. Affraid the stage 2 kit may shorten the life of it. Wish you were in the lucerne valley area. I'm looking for someone to ride with. There are some awesome trails out here. And these things go anywhere.
I convinced my buddy to buy one of these recently, he loves it. Sadly I didn’t get a video of him buying it, and when we all were riding, but this spring/summer I’ll be filming a LOT of riding. Are you located in california? If so could totally do a meet up and do some riding.
@@CGGarage ya i ride and live in lucerne valley CA. I posted a couple videos on my page also. Would be awesome to start a group out here. I own 2 bikes now and my neighbor picked one up also. We ride off camprock Rd in the hills
Sorry for the late reply Alex, I got this at Camping World local to me! Mine was supposed to be a gray/red too, but mine was left out in the sun and outside in the box lol. It was mint though.
It looks flat where you are, I don't think you need more torque (with less speed) with a 60 tooth. I live in an area with lots of hills and terrain and a 50T does just fine.
I'll be taking this thing up the mountain quite a bit soon here, only reason why I brought up having a 60T.. If I never bring it up rhe mountain, then nah I don't need it lol.

Yeah like I said in the video, I'm still learning a lot about this bike. That helps a lot what you mentioned. I'll check into those.

@@CGGarage i just tagged my video in this comment thread. I put a camera on my neighbors bike amd had him follow me.
I love the black one, where did you bought it? I only have the choice between a gray/red and an orange/white one.

I added a rechargeable led Quebec style b
Good idea. Definetly will be checking into that!
Saw them for $699 at Rural King on 10/16/21
I'm curious as to why they call it a 200. I remember back in the day my 85 Honda 200X would do 55. Night and day difference in the size of the motors.

Wow. Only $900 on Amazon with free delivery.
Inflation... Just 5 years ago or so you could get a Coleman 200 on sale at Walmart for $250. Christmas eve 2016 I saw one in Walmart for $199.
I got mine for $700 @ Camping world. But yea I agree w/ @Deucealive, inflation.
