The matrix has some odd stuff that has no real explanation. I was in Japan 🇯🇵 a few years ago. We ate WAGU at a fancy steak house. It was awesome. Then. We got invited to the chef’s house. Several days later we ate WAGU at his house. Several people commented on how it was better at the restaurant. I asked the guy what he did differently this time. He said. nothing. It’s exactly the same here as there. But the mind of a fool is convinced the more expensive way is better. We laughed. Turned out we both loved the same baseball team. I have not paid the $250.00 a plate WAGU since. I vacation there twice a year. Lmao.

Not saying the price is justified, but your average joe isn’t going to buy this tool.
This tool is mostly bought by professional plumbers who can save time and effort vs doing it manually.
Most businesses will be able to justify the cost

It is also hackable you can buy the Milwaukee M12 FUEL ProPEX Expander Tool Kit with 1/2 in. - 1 in. RAPID SEAL ProPEX Expander Heads and it offers a free item with it. If you choose Milwaukee M12 12V Lithium-Ion Cordless PVC Pipe Shear (Tool-Only) you can return it and keep the Milwaukee M12 FUEL ProPEX Expander Tool Kit with 1/2 in. - 1 in. RAPID SEAL ProPEX Expander Heads for $441.71.

I have two of those but I think I only paid $400/ea for mine. Prices have gone up I guess. They do work good but yeah I don't think I would buy any new milwaukee cordless stuff that's not the fuel version.
