Dumb is assembled there. It's made here in USA

It’s funny I was trying to tighten a 7/8 brass fitting into a ball valve and the box end would not fit and the open end would. I thought I was crazy but this video makes me feel less crazy. Still tho, amazing wrenches
that happens a lot with those

What about labor, does true fix give you the labor hours?
yes
Thank you for your reply…too bad the wiring diagrams aren’t as good as alldata’s or Mitchell’s, but that pricing for true fix is great
Part #
?
What you want TruFix to do, as far as it being integrated with Motor, X-431 Fix does. It is directly integrated with the Make/Year/Model and Trouble Code. You don't have to search for anything, even though you're in a browser. Also, the diagrams are color coded, not just black and white..
Where's the best place to order the whole assembly
Lippert
No Toyota product support(Toy, Lex,Scion)☹️
that's a very good point I did not know that but you are correct that's extremely odd
Did true fix have test procedures
yes by a diffrent name
Motor repair sucks thats why Launch is dropping them they are primary European Vehicles ad very limited on American Vehicles but it is better than nothing and will help you so it is a nice feature and it is cool you are giving more information on this as no one in the store is going to be able to tell you much about it or tell you the truth so Awesome Video good job well done ..
thanks brother and thanks for watching
Tim did you know that icon scanber went up to 1800 bucks now too?????
@@jonrusso4720 which one the T8 ?
@@jonrusso4720 it’s $899.99 on the website
The T10 is 1800.
The new T10 is $1699. I was just there yesterday when I bought the T8 which I've been waiting months to find in stock. Trying to find out if I got a free year with this purchase or not. I think I do.
That’s the spring end comes off and unwinds. How many turns do you put on the spring when you put it back in so that it has the right tension
that's based on the size of the awning its no one set number
How has the mesh held up? I’m afraid it will tear easily
holding up great no issues
question....the red shut off valve on left side on your brass gizmo hooked to manometer does it have a plug on end or are you letting gas out? not sure when you turn it on how your getting 50% load if gas not coming out? you was not clear on that part, thanks
@@Sam-blackwidow7329 that’s not a plug on the end of the LP tool it’s a 75K BTU orifice that I fabricated while at RVTI for my Level 2 certification (man that was a long time ago)
Basically a plug with a #41 hole in it to be precise

Appreciate this. Tackling the exact same job on my wife's car this week.
yeah shops make it seem harder than it is and gauges are not expensive
Great Video! Have you heard of drilling a hole the outside facia to get to that screw. I attended Lippert Training at their facility and they gave a measurement that I can't remember at the moment but it is where to drill the hole from the outside to remove that set screw....
yes but that hole will need to be spot on, ive heard that in a Lippert training as well I considered a hydraulic ram setup to push the room out 2" and then use a bit ratchet for the retaining screw.
Can't you connect the phone jack off the southwire tester to the fluke sending unit?
connect two transmitters ? they both are basically signal generators
Have you considered the power probe maestro? It's bigger, but appears to be more rugged, and can also assist in doing more tests. Plus, it can connect to phone or tablet via bluetooth. I love mine.
in my view its too expensive for what its good at (VDC hots and grounds detection and injection ) the rest its not so good at because any decent multimeter is better in my opinion that's just my opinion Thanks for watching
@@rvtechpro understandable. I have the Maestro and the Snap on version, and both are great tools, in my opinion. Be blessed, bud.
@@antonioorozco4896 I believe the Snap-On version is the best for auto techs because you can change the voltage output to say 5VDC to troubleshoot reference voltage and stuff like that I dont know if the Maestro can do that but if it can then they should highlight that feature that would make me reconsider because I do work with CAN bus networks in campers on logic control where the triggers are 2VDC etc.
I just comented on another page a few days ago on how much more work a less expensive scanner can be and each one is limited to good information, what one $30 scanner doesn't have the other one will,,,,mind you that those who have grown usually started with a multimeter being that all sensors work off volts and ohms which can all be back prob-ed but its alot of work to back probe sensors individually. On a very cheap scanner I was surprized to see TP_C(%). It tells you the absolute TP of the rider on motorcycles or driver on cars, so if you WOT and blow your engine with that scan the dealer can void your warranty and have proof in a court of law that you blew it, on another cheap scanner I found that you can see how many times the vehicle has been started in comparecen to miles driven, also on another cheap scanner I found # of times the ECU corrected a fault and if you had driven with that fault how many times and miles. Data event recorders are now also inside kawasaki and can be seen with cheap over the counter scanners,,,,it just hard to know which cheap scanner has what unless you start trying them, I found that with 3 cheap scanners you can be right behind that expensive scanner also with some paper and a pen,,,,if you know what your looking for you can get away with about $200.00USD.👍
Great video showing tool usage!!
Glad you liked it!
Did u forget to put the shroud on also.....
no I left it off to inspect for leaks
I use the air hammer with a blunt tip too
right on man
Just watch all your dewalt tools, they blow out clutches and catch on fire,I shit canned mine now and strictly milwaukee too..
ive never had a problem with any dealt tools and I have a bunch that's what I grew up on and my dad too its my preferred brand but I use whatever works regardless of brand so I find myself having about six different brands
I would put never size on those bolts when u put them back in too..
right on man
I use a pair of usa long nose vice grip for all clamping hose clips too..
yup that works
Great video, fun and informative, nicely done
Glad you enjoyed it!
Unfortunately there's a lot of tool shaming on the internet. Not everyone can afford Fluke or Snap-on test equipment and tools. I've worked with some great techs who had the bare minimum in tools but turned out great work. How is that Centech multimeter working for you? It seems reasonably priced and has a backlit display.
@@mlieser1230 it works great just dose not have min max features

@@HarleySLA right on brother
That is a great subject to cover. It is a good idea to check test equipment periodically. In the case of your circuit probe I bet it is the switch. A lot of people have recommended pushing the button on the probe and then touching the tip to the circuit to be energized rather than touching the tip and then pushing the button. This supposedly prevents arcing on the switch that causes damage over time. You may be able to either disassemble the switch and clean the contact or possibly replace the switch. Where did you get the case that you keep your meters in? I've been looking for some kind of case for all my test equipment and leads.

Proper bit is 5/32
Dometic™ A&E 3311579.016 OEM RV Awning Arm 3/16" x 1" Oscar Rivet - 10 Pack The recommended hole size for a blind rivet is typically between 0.1mm to 0.2mm larger than the diameter of the body of the rivet. For example, if you are using a 3/16-inch blind rivet, the hole size should be between 5.0mm to 5.5mm 5/32 is way to small for a 3/16 rivet

The TPM is showing sensor to wheel location mismatch. Best way to fix it is to delete all the sensors using the tool, clear out the car computer codes and then relearn all the wheel sensors. They should then be in the correct location and you should not get an error message from the car.
yeah that's what we said in the video we found a mismatch from tire rotation and did an ODB relearn using an out of sub Autel MP808TS... thanks for watching
Generally if it still has the make and year of vehicles you service then there is no need to update. That is usually done to add newer car models and years to the software. In some cases, the update may fix a function that might not have worked properly in the past.
thanks for watching
Snap on is ridiculously priced for what they do.
I do not disagree
Do they actually 'update' anything?
as far as?
