The end for Jake Doyle

Allan Hawco says goodbye to his crime-show the Republic of Doyle tonight.
He's been the lead for the past six seasons, he is also the show's co-creator, executive producer and head writer. He spoke to CBC News' Suhana Meharchand.

I wish they hadn't changed the dynamic in the final 2 seasons. But this is a great show all around. I'm happy to be a supporter of amazing Canadian TV and the fact that I have a whole slew of family that lives in Torbay, My dad was born in Torbay and loved seeing the show!
