Excellent show. One of the best I've ever watched. I was so sad when I completed the series! There was so much richness in the show. I'll have to rewatch it... several more times. - From Minnesota.

Watching the entire series, my wife and I became huge fans.
Allan and co. Should become household names in the US like the rest of the world. Can’t wait for more work from this cast.

I’m so glad to have found Republic of Doyle on Netflix. The writing on the show was wonderful and the flow of the show was reminiscent for me of the old Rockford Files, which I enjoyed watching when I was growing up. I’d love to see more Canadian produced shows and am looking forward to watching Allan Hawco in future TV and cinematic roles.

I would highly recommend Private Eyes with Jason Priestley. It's funny and the cases are varied. Not all the same.

What a great interview, I'd have to say Allan is easily the most genuine and humble person I've ever seen on TV. All of his interviews are so interesting and he's always so thankful for all of his good fortunes, which he earned from hard work. I met him briefly this year and he's just as nice in person. Congrats to Allan and all of the ROD crew.

Nice to see the humility and the appreciation towards his home and history. Love the show. Sorry to see it end. Great all around. Canada's been making some fantastic tv shows. Thoroughly enjoying them down in the States.

I just finished watching every season of this on Netflix. What a delightful show. It took me back to the days when there were only 3 major Networks on U.S TV (before Cable TV gave folks tons of channels with barely anything to watch..lol.). The reason being was that this show had nothing to prove politically and was good clean fun filled with just the right mix of comedy, drama and action. I could only imagine the suspense an average fan might have had waiting for this show to air each week. It must've been something to really look forward to. Thank you so much for the fictitious tour of Newfoundland my neighbors to the North. What a Gem of a show. Great writing, great characters, fantastic acting !! Please do consider revisiting the show in a special project of some sort on Netflix (as if Hawco and company is actually reading this comment..lol). That would be an absolute treat for all of your New fandom. Cheers B'y !

Hello! I’m a great fan of Rep of Doyle! I live in New York Sate in the US and be sure to tell Alan that not only do I love the show and the family of characters, but many of the fans here in the States love the show and yes, you are correct.... Alan is absolutely a sex symbol! Tell him many of us feel that a sequel, with Jake and Leslie, Dinny also working in the family business! It opens up a whole new array of possibilities! Hope he will! Thanx for having him on the show and get to hear his personal views. Ask him if he could allow it to run on main line tv networks down in the States, cuz we love it! ❤️👍😉

I just started watching this show on Netflix and I love it! The character of Jake Doyle is adorable and lovable! All the other characters are so clever and have their own distinct personalities! Between watching this show and Haven I now know I must see Newfoundland! I live in NYS so when this terrible virus is over I will put this on my bucket list!

Just finished watching the series. Love, love loved it. So sad it was over. Wish it would be re-made. Wish Allen had a bigger part on Jack Ryan. Want to see more of him.

I've just found this show. What a beautiful piece of work. It seems to be emblematic of everything that Canada gets right, that the U.S. has completely fumbled. I have lived 70 years in northern California, and for my whole life I've fought against the social forces that have finally prevailed here. America had it's chance, but threw it away lusting after power, property, and individuality. Most Americans can see that Canada simply works better, but are too stupid or avaricious to put 2 and 2 together. America's descent into the cesspool of fascism has passed a tipping point, I believe, and I think we're lost. Canada should be the country building a wall, because our influence is only going to grow more malignant with time. Canada, what you have is both priceless and fragile. Look to the example to your south, and do not follow it.

I found the show on Netflix a few weeks ago. I watched the last episode today. I really enjoyed the show but I found the on again off again between Jake and Leslie difficult to watch. I so hoped they would get together. I actually skipped episodes where Leslie seemed hostile toward Jake, I skipped over her dating the Montrealer completely. I really enjoyed Alan Hawco's acting, Krystin I'm in love with. They just seem like such down to earth beautiful people. Great series, I wish I had seen it before now. Seems strange commenting 5 years after the show ended.
