OMG, I so LOVED binge watching Republic of Doyle recently & totally fell in love with Allan Hawco!!! And, for all the reasons presented here - all he does & puts into the show, creating it out of nothing, the 'crazy talk' & all his Luscious nakedness!!!! So glad George asked him about putting so much of his skin out there for all of us (including Gay men!!!) to enjoy!! So delightful watching his response. What a fun pair these 2 guys are!!! 😋👅😋
I think this used to be a really different show but not toward the end of the run unfortunately where it stopped being the witty comedy I fell in love with and got too heavy-handed and dramatic and wasted storylines on characters I hated (Sloan, ughhhh) at the expense of the actual fun characters I cared about. I still have the series finale left to watch tonight, hope Jake/Leslie ended up together but otherwise, I wish the show was more like its first few seasons.
Why don't you ask Al about his other stunt double Christy Ring who they threw under a bus. Hawco didn't even bother to call him after he was injured. He's still in therapy.
