I loved the show. The writing and acting treasure of the next 50 years. The cast was fantastic and the acting was superbly professional. Republic will set the benchmark for GREAT tv action shows for next 50 years Look to Canada !!!!!!!!
I started watching it recently too! Loved the first few seasons but not the end ones as much, too dramatic and not as funny and too much time wasted on characters I couldn't stand instead of characters I love but oh well. Still looking forward to watching the series finale tonight.
I think its a great show up there with my all time favorites . Me and two of my friends have been watching it every weekend. like Magnum PI and Rockford Files Republic of Doyle will be considered a classic. Its also cool they had a couple of guests from Murdoch on.
I found it by accident on my roku. It really is a good show. I was skeptical at first, but my mom and I are hooked! My favorite parts are the GTO, and Leslie is Smoking hot!! I do like the ex to, very beautiful lady. The interaction is awesome with the dad. My biggest issue, is it just seems like Jake never catches a break with the ladies. I know the feeling. I cant either. LOL. A screw up guy always trying to do the right thing, but somehow another road block. But a damn good detective. Keep it up.
This fun show introduced me, a New Yorker, to New Foundland and I am pleasantly intrigued.

Allan Hawco IS Doyle. Too funny. Can see why these two had so much chemistry on screen. Respect from Oz! 🇦🇺
