@@dragonic22 I get that and for game killing card I was think just Irelia but I guess there was worse cards in that deck that also got nerfed. I just remember that azir was ok to play before the Irelia cards came out but when they did come out it made the format so fast. But I got idea wrong thinking it was just Irelia's fault.
What he said about Kai'sa, that the game became more about rushing your win con rather than interacting with your opponent, has been true since way, way earlier than that. It was true already during the release of Shurima, with broken shit like Azirelia winning on turn 5 and TLC winning on turn 8, then Sivir/Akshan with flurry of fists killing you in one turn.
The difference I think is that in those eras there were still viable decks that looked to interact and counter your opponent wincon. In the kaisa era, basically all meta decks looked to just do their own thing faster than the opponent, because interacting with kai'sa was impossible (read: very high chance for your removal to be blocked, putting you into an even greater deficit) and Kai'sa would always win by turn 6-7 so the only other viable decks were those that seek to win sooner than that.
Wow, will we just skip the dominance of Azirelia and the Concurrent Timelines - Lendros combo? Also Ez/Kennen when Kennen was first released should be in here.
I was curious too that the list is not complete maybe there is a part 2 or a tier list that broke runeterra entirely cause the vid is only as almost broke runeterra
Ez/Kennen wasn't at all op because of Kennen. It was Ezreal carrying that deck, plus it was INSANELY hard to run that deck optimally at high ladder. One slip and the whole thing just fell behind. As for Azirelia I've always stood by it was strong, but not entirely broken when compared to the other broken cards on this list. These were cards that had to be completely rotated out or gutted of their identity in order to stop. Azirelia was mostly Irelia's fault, and on top of that Irelia was really only dominant in that list. Things like pre-nerf Bandle tree or Ezreal pre-rotate were constantly bouncing around all regions and combo's that even slightly enabled them. Kai'sa pre second skin nerf was impossible to truly stop. Her champ spell on top of shurimas slow down meant she was oppressive with not only Demacia, but her Bilgewater list with the scouts from that region was respectably strong if underplayed due to it struggling against demacia from lack of tough.
I think some good honorable mentions would be The Arsenal, Concurrent Timelines (Ledros, Dreadway combo), The Veiled Temple, Unyielding Spirit, Wiggly Burblefish (with 1 mana Rummage).

I loved playing Kindred, but I absolutely despised Lee Sin. So when they were both rotated, I accepted the sacrifice of Kindred to never have to play against overwhelm Lee Sin again.
I know that it would’ve likely been more complicated, but I really feel like Aphelios could’ve generated equipment, with on play or on attack effects. Obviously that would change a lot of the details in his play - equipping doesn’t go on the stack, you’d keep the weapons in hand after it’s user dies, etc. So things would have to change but still. Also - I still can’t fathom why evolve has no interaction whatsoever. It’s not keywords on board, it’s not attacking with keywords or anything else. It’s just having spent the mana on the units at some point during the game, regardless of whether they did literally anything besides being summoned or not. Kai’sa would be so much more manageable if there was any way to interact with evolving.
One more note about Poppy is that she's highly overpowered with Zed and Taric to the point where her stats is from 4/3 to 2/3. And ANY buff will make her broken again, considering her as sleeping dragon
HP buff will always be broken cuz it making removal cards becoming weak which is bad because trading a card for a unit is how thing supposed to work fairly. If they spent 1 more card to protect it, it's a fair trade because you forced opponent to use 1 more card which will make them will ran out of gas. Nami and aphelios landmark goes beyond that by generating infinte value and broke the power scale which is still not that worse compare to siren song as you just play 1 card and all your 1 cost unit got +1+1

Ezreal was a fair and reasonable card before the play/cast merge. That rules change was a horrendous change that never should of happened. Also, what back and forth gameplay? LoR hasn't had a back and forth since 2021.
tbh sion's deck was never an issue. jinx has always been a problem. by the time they nerfed his decks sion was actually already starting to decline naturally without any direct nerfs just because of the way the meta was moving ahead. twinblade currently is probably one of the most mediocre cards in the game, given that in some cases actually playing it is sometimes lower value than just discarding it a second time. this is also not to mention some other cards from his package like the reckoner being nerfed for its play outside of sions deck. again. his spells have been nerfed, his card has been nerfed, some of his cards have been buffed, but in ways that just dont matter. at one point they gave lady of blood an extra attack point. this never mattered, since she's not even meant to block or attack. his landmark, the grey apothecary, is best played outside of a deck like his. god sion is in such a sad state man. give twinblade challenger. give him his two attack back.

Kai’sa would be so much more manageable if there was any way to interact with evolving.
TF/Fizz was the only thing in its time to really be able to say that it broke the game. And by far.
If i hade a nickel for every time aphelios broke a game on riots ip I would have two which is not a lot but it’s weird that it happened twice
I understand the change of BandleTree but that change just killed it.
Im surprised it was lost souls mentioned rather than legion deserter... that deserter viego deck was insane.
One more note about Poppy is that she's highly overpowered with Zed and Taric to the point where her stats is from 4/3 to 2/3. And ANY buff will make her broken again, considering her as sleeping dragon
More specifically, she had to be nerfed TWICE since she was still by far the strongest champion as a 3/3.
ive actually won against a lissandra deck with watcher on board after about 5 turns
Feels weird to watch a Snnuy video which is structured similarly to SunnyV2
I enjoyed it nonetheless
Incredible how the first 10 seconds just describe very common yugioh cards
While I like playing with Veigar ad Rumble, Bandle City was a mistake
How is it just now that I realized that Rubin Zoo looks so much like Brad Pitts... le mao
Dam he looks like a Link
Im surprised not seeing blade dance featured here
Because azirelia is a DECK not a CARD
FIORAAAA! Remember those days where all deck was based on her
Sunny why didn't you include Fiddlesticks? I can't believe you would do him like that.
I like how there is no fiora shen
Thats easy to deal with, just kill fiora
Snnuy forgot about more beginners guide
The video is great, but it's a bit too fast paced and Imo would be better with some transition, less text on the screen and maybe some jokes. But it doesn't mean the video is bad. I would love to see more videos like this, and you're my favorite lor content creator for a reason :)
I am suprised there is no blade dance in this video
Because azirelia is a DECK not a CARD
I love this type of videos.
Ey, no siren song??
I’m confused, where’s irelia azir
I don't know if it's just me but I want to say that I like the EQ on your voice in this video! Compared to your other videos or at least the scripted intros to your VODs
Ezz, just like my name.
Is it just me or this video has the sunnyv2 style of video
One might argue they did kill the game. This just kept happening over and over until too many people gave up.
The transition from one topic to the other is scary....everytime i'm like "yahh its time to skip this video" BAM the next one is in and I cant not watch it now that it's introduced can i?
You left out the most infamous card: Irelia with her blade dance archetype attacking 3-4 times in the enemy turn by turn 6. We had to suffer that shit for like 6 months. Ever since then the game went downhill.
What happened to ez in the thumbnail lol
is crazy see how give life to a unit is something wrong if is infinity, nami and poppy were very opresive because you cant kill hers unity
Ok snnuy so, i see why you didn't mention azirelia because it was an entire deck to play against, but how come you didn't put the first version of Grand Plaza or Hush?
What about azirelia or siren song?
Because azirelia is a DECK not a CARD
great video
Doesnt feel like Runaterra is still alive tho
Bro during ezfucker/Serashit meta i would just play the game until i go against a reptile who plays the deck then i would just ALT+F4 and repeat the second day
Siren song alone should have been touched on lol. It limited the game to LITERALLY 3 DECKS.
Strange how azirelia meta was not mentioned either, even though it made like everyone quit the game.
Because azirelia is a deck not a card
@@PanPan-ml1ip so what include both azir and irelia then
@@hellscream4354 Still not a single card
Love the concept! Constructive criticism: have a little bigger of a pause between each segment of the video-the narration feels a tad bit rushed atm
Funny how Aphelios was so broken in both LoL and LoR and got nerfed until no one plays them
???? There is so much misinformation and gross exaggerations in this video... Aphelios was still tier 1 even after the nerf, along with TF Fizz they made up more than 50% of played decks at high elo. "Completely unplayable" lmfao
bro was playing hearthstone and confused it for LoR 💀
The video was very good and informative, but I think it would have been nice to hear Snnuy's opinions as a conclusion.
Yeah it kinda felt like the video ended ubruptly
@@ephraimcarter7918 He is also going too fast imo. Like man, breathe between regions at least.
@@garoluis7366 So that the video can be as short as possible ? It's a great strategy imo , i was hooked in the 10 mins without pausing the video at all
The fact you didn’t include irelia/azir just makes 0 sense lol
It's been a wild ride! Wonder what's gonna break the game next
So were TF/Fizz, Azirelia and Kennen/Ezreal not at Gamebreaking level ?
Or is Snnuy saving them for a potential part 2
Control deck can easily wipe them if your smart enough
Then again he already mentioned Ezreal. I can't fault him for not keeping track of all the things Ezreal breaks in the game
@@BrutalSalamander1 Yeah that's fair
@@Crybaby-hy3ec Honestly I'm not sure about that, Azirelia players would just kill you on turn 5 or 6 you couldn't really control them.
I indeed played control decks during that meta, then again I just might be a terrible LoR player lol
Because azirelia is a DECK not a CARD
I'm pretty sure the meta we're in right now isn't better ... I'm fed up going up against nasus and shadow isles in general with their infinite removal spells ... Something needs to be done about it
You afraid of nasus? Use targon to silence their nasus
I loved playing Nami and havent played her since the plus2 plus 0 change. Regret buying the skin.
we dont speak about azir irelia
Because azirelia is a DECK not a CARD
You didn't mention timeline the commander ledros and the dreadway, one of the broken combo in the game
Great video but I think a little breathing room between could help. The transitions didn't really allow the viewer to conclude their own thoughts on each segment. Maybe a lil 2-3 second 'title card', containing a hint or joke towards the next champ/playstyle kinda element between each part with no voice over. Otherwise though, great as always
Azirelia escaped this one XD
Because azirelia is a deck not a card
@@PanPan-ml1ip Ezrral is a combo with other cards, but it doesn't matter , just a silly UA-cam comment
@@ricardo64329 yes. Because the card that is broken not the combo. azirelia its not. Blade dance is broken not azir nor irelia...
If you say "blade dance escaped this one XD" then it would be a valid comment reffering to the context
i like this style of vid. but if u want any feedback, the transitions feel to quick. maybe its just me but after u say the sentence to tie the first card to the next maybe put an extra 2 seconds inbetween and like a picture of the card itself.
Bandle City killed the game for me. I haven't played since the whole Bandle Tree debacle. I really, really hate the pivot to randomness that LoR took during that time, as I was not interested in playing Hearthstone 2.0.
Wheres Azirelia?
Because azirelia is a DECK not a CARD
I dont even play this game anymore, but I still your videos. Keep it up!
P.S. remember to take pauses. It felt like you were just rambling for 11 mins straight in this video, regardless tho. Its still a great video
is this sunny or sunnyv2?
Ezreal was a fair and reasonable card before the play/cast merge. That rules change was a horrendous change that never should of happened. Also, what back and forth gameplay? LoR hasn't had a back and forth since 2021.
So to sum it up, Demacia has been the most balanced region in the game :D
I like this scripted format. It had good pacing and talked up one of my favorite cards: Poppy!
tbh sion's deck was never an issue. jinx has always been a problem. by the time they nerfed his decks sion was actually already starting to decline naturally without any direct nerfs just because of the way the meta was moving ahead.
twinblade currently is probably one of the most mediocre cards in the game, given that in some cases actually playing it is sometimes lower value than just discarding it a second time. this is also not to mention some other cards from his package like the reckoner being nerfed for its play outside of sions deck. again. his spells have been nerfed, his card has been nerfed, some of his cards have been buffed, but in ways that just dont matter. at one point they gave lady of blood an extra attack point. this never mattered, since she's not even meant to block or attack. his landmark, the grey apothecary, is best played outside of a deck like his.
god sion is in such a sad state man. give twinblade challenger. give him his two attack back.
you didn't speak about aatrox kayn & vayn xD
cool video tho, i like your hyping voice
Aatrox kayn is balanced
@@PanPan-ml1ip he is speaking about cards the broke the game before, aatrox was breaking it before they nurf it ofc
@@abdeallahbennaceur3087 but not as miserable as card that included in the video
