- Welcome Stargate SG-1, Atlantis, and SGU fans. This organized by timeline documentary explores the canon of all the Stargate series, and Movies as well. I organized the canon in a organized Timeline beginning with the Alteran Ancients splitting from the Ori Alterans all the way through its history to the founding of the Destiny by Nicholas Rush and the Icarus Expedition. The documentary is about 38 minutes long (purposely made to fit the length of an active stargate [barring blackholes and unlimited number of ZPM's])

It'd be nice to have a prequel Stargate that shows the ancients rise and eventual fall that be a good 10 season of content
I absolutely like that idea, in fact I have written a lot of speculation history based off of the show and what we know of the ancients.
Most people don't engage them selfs in this type of speculation like I do, they would rather just take what they got out of the show & never really dig deeper into what they could possibly find based off of their history.
Like one example that I can think of has to do with the fact of them leaving, we know by the show and also the movie The Ark of Truth that they left because of religious Dogma because they were more science oriented than the rest of the Galaxy, however they were all once the same people who all had the same belief system, so what changed them into this fanatic religion in the first place?
Because it simply doesn't make much sense that a species such as them being a Society of space-traveling Highly technically advanced people, what Abandoned All of their technology and serve a religion that oppresses them and keeps them held behind when it came to knowledge banning all of Technology and future advancement.
The Ancients who separated themselves from these other religious factions we're highly Superior because of their technology and pursuit to advance themselves further, in my opinion they absolutely had nothing to fear against a religious group who abandoned technology, because they were Superior in every way.
We have conflicting information from the show as well as within the wikis, that talk about how the Ori didn't ascend until sometime after the split off faction left the OrI Galaxy, again I have to come back to them being far superior then the rest of society, they had nothing to fear if the Ori warrant ascended at this point.
It actually makes much more sense that they were already ascended at this point, and that they would have something to fear and have every reason to hide their technology until they were ready to leave once and for all.
But the wiki information says that they ascended sometime after the Alteran left they're Galaxy.
It just didn't make much sense to me, we do know that Brad rights originally had a script for season 11 and 12 of SG-1, but because the series was canceled all of that information was condensed into one movie via the Ark of Truth oh, so there was a lot of information that we missed out on that could further explain some of these Concepts.
I miss great tv shows like stargate. Modern stuff is so throw away. Like junk food tv.

@@user-tp5yb4hr4w I would like to see in the new shows, if there are any, how the wraith was birthed, in the fandemonium books they were humans that the ancients experimented on using the iratus bug and made them what they are, the ancients could be proper twonks at times, and they were not always evil wraiths, they tried to be good. The books are excellent, i have read them all and i highly recommend them. I would like to have seen more of the Nox tho, but i suppose they were too powerful to have around lol
The Stargate franchise is very much underrated imo and better then most other sci-fi shows including Star Trek.
I just hope they stored SGU actors in stasis with the reasoning... Stargate universe didn't necessarily get cancelled because of poor ratings, it was just way ahead of its time. And there weren't enough people alive today that could truly appreciate such groundbreaking advancement in sci-fi dark shadows soap Opera like story lines.
I WATCHED EVERY Stargate show. This was excellent. Everything was in order and gave many answers. I WILL ALWAYS WONDER about the very last show. Oh well. Thank you very much.❤️❤️❤️
This was fantastic. I consider myself an avid starch gate fan and felt I knew a lot of it. This documentary here filled in most of all the blanks I didn't know about thank you for producing this and keep them coming

Nice to see some1 trying to link to an ancients style point of view series .
Ive always thought it would b the next logical series to jump into coz theres so much pre story u can jump into from the ancients point of view.
Thanks for tying up lots of loose ends - I've watched StargateSG1, Atlantis and Universe over the years and enjoyed today's wrap up of loose ends on the episodes. Keep writing more stories though!
Very good and comprehensive documentary. I like the way you mentioned the various major events, and how they led up to each other.
The only thing I would say is to work on the clipping, other than that, it's gonna be nitpicking.

If you go to Cheyenne mountain there is still to this day a door labeled Stargate command it's a janitorial closet but it is there the armed forces were a big fan of the Stargate SG-1 and a lot of the people who work in the air Force and the Navy like to show off their fundus for the show in fact one of our current lines of fighter jet is Loosely based on one of the human-alien hybrid Jets in SG-1

Bro! Wonderful condensing of the entire SG series. Only recommendation is giving your self about a 1-5 second transitions between segments for the audio which appeared cut off. Other than that this was solid!

Actually if the universe truely limitless big there is a 100 percent chance of every decision ever made be reality somewhere. So technically every book or tv series is real somewhere as long as it does not conflicht with the laws of physics

You know, after the SGU was cut. Roughly two years latter, Physicis of Harvard acutally discovered that Universe indeed has structures on large scale.

Stargate Universe will only be resurrected through the efforts of people like you. I too felt like I was left hanging by the last episode of SGU and nothing will be resolved until SGU comes back on TV and the original characters tell us WHAT HAPPENED! OK, three years have passed, did the Destiny and Eli find out where this super entity is and what is it presently doing? How will Earth react to this discovery? Will the alien superdrones leave Destiny alone to complete its mission? Will the Destiny's present crew be able to bury its differences to be able to complete the mission? So many questions that demand answers, and the Stargate franchise holders have to answer this!

Daniel Jackson in he Stargate (1994) movie was played by, actor, James Spader. Also known as Raymond "Red" Reddington, star of "The Blacklist." Michael Franks assumed the role of Jackson for the Stargate SG-1 Series, Stargate Atlantis and subsequent movie productions.
I didn't realize that the Jackson actor in the movie was different from the show until you said that Lol

You guys may think I'm a nutcase but according to Lockheed Skunk works we are already out there the man said on his deathbed that no matter what we can imagine we have already built therefore intellivision if you listen closely to the older people in the industries that are on their deathbeds they are describing things that have come to pass in Stargate in Star Trek and many others like Dark Matters so I truly believe there's a ring of Truth in this series and that's why it's so addicting he'll bring it back fellas bring it back

Very informative sequence. It would be nice to view the whole franchise in order including movies switching back and forth on the CTV Sci-Fi Channel that can be PVRed to watch in exact sequence for Everything Stargate this would help newbies and younger folks get the bug and be a lot of fun for the elders. My mother before her passing over 10 years ago at the age of 87 stated the series SG-1 gave her great comfort she had real satire humour like the Charter Jack O'Neal.
From a business prospective I still looking for the Box set of everything on the old DVD HD technology. Your documentary should be the first DVD to watch with spoiler alert. The collection box sets must come with a list of what video to watch in sequence going back and forth. Sci-fi channel airing in sequence and or on demand for free for a limited time would be good to bring people up to speed on any new Stargate series or movie in the future. Stargate is second favourite to Sanctuary with Amanda Tapping as it was a show about acceptance something lacking in the rel world today, Stargate was a series about hope. As child of single digit age I still remember the first time I saw very young William Shatner who played a Napoleon soldier with Boris Karloff and Jack Nicholson it was our old B&W. LOL good stuff

its a shame that SGU never got continued, i understand why, for fans it wasnt "stargate", true stargate focused on the "problem of the week" concept and became more consistent over the years but the overall concept was outdated.
new fans didnt know what stargate was and old fans cried about "dis is not stargate anymore"
truth is it is/was still stargate, the fans just couldnt evolve with the time. so its also the fans fault that this got cancelled (and yes i just attacked us fans) but it is irrelevant know, i guess origins will fail, due to the same problems SGU has faced.
new fans have no clue and the old will cry
besides that i wrote my own SGU fanfiction wich answered the question with we were left behind.

I was very disappointed that they left Eli standing on the bridge and that was the end while everybody else was in stasis. That was like a cliffhanger I didn't like the ending
Fans didn't like it, cause they saw it for it what it was. BSG Clone. That's why Season 2 was so much better. SGA was fine and had great viewing numbers but canceled before they could finish their series.
Carriers of the plague interesting considering commentary is from 2017. Interesting fact Star Gate series had some special consultants, Gen. Hammond has some interesting friends in high places.

I really wish they would bring Stargate back. Sell the Franchise to someone who can show it some love. When Universe first cane out I hated it and always said it was Greys Anatomy with a Stargate in space.. But I rewatched it recently as an adult and thought it was really good. I'm 27 now and grew up with Stargate.
it would be possible to send Atlantis home using the ZPM from both Odyssey and the Ancient chair platform to power it's FTL systems. Since their was still lots of SGC personal left behind, as well as the countless humans in danger from the waith.

If you want to read a really good book series that does an excellent job of using mythology in the stories try The Kate Daniels series by Ilona Andrews. Best book series I have ever read.
