That's a great model! I forgot to mention that they are now selling the G5 through the Total Gym Direct website. I think they added it about 4-5 months ago. It replaced the Supreme.
I want to know how the wheels stack up and how the overall frame construction compares to the Fit. Wheels have been a weak point for TG. I have replacement ones on my fit from Huck Products as well as the pulley cable. I want to know if the Evolve is truly worth it. Have you ever tried one of the row trainers?

Hi, I don't know the exact reasons. It has been around a long time. I assume it is not as popular as it once was and maybe doesn't sell as well. They are making adjustments to the line-up so there are models at each price point - maybe it is too similar to the Fit? Sorry, I don't know the exact answer. Happy 4th!
The Encompass is the commercial-grade model (pretty much the same as the GTS, except the color) and the Evolve is the new premium at-home model. It has the adjustable glideboard like the Encompass/GTS but not the LAT bars. It's an elevated version (Evolved version 😁) of the Fit. Here's a link to it: tinyurl.com/tg-evolve
