Every time I go through that little walking tour, they have made some improvements. It was pretty much set before hurricane Harvey did a number on it and I would imagine they do the repairs as the budget allows.

People were lined up to grab a spot for the day and the fireworks. People trying to claim three parking spaces because, they are having someone come later in the day just doesn't go over too well with someone who is here right now. Nothing like fighting on Independence Day. It seems appropriate enjoy the fireworks friend.
