Good Morning Dennis. I saw where South Padre had 4 Shark attacks yesterday, I tell ya, it dang sure keeps me out of the water, I don't do Jelly Fish either lol. Yeah looks like ya'll in for some good rain, us to here in Central Texas. Always take the Rain, cause in Texas sooner or later we will be praying for it. You have a Great Day my Friend. Gas water food butane. I don't use batteries for anything anymore. Everything is rechargeable that I use. Be safe.
Hi, Dennis. Thanks for the long, leisurely ride, and Hurricane Harvey stories. Having worked as a bookkeeper for 45 years, I've done a few cash payrolls. It's a lot of pressure to get everything right, because your co-workers are depending on you to make sure they have the money ready for food, rent, and bills. And for you, it was all that same pressure, plus the general emergency situation. I hope your coworkers appreciated your efforts. I'm glad you're getting mentally ready to skedaddle if it looks like Beryl will make landfall here as a hurricane. Good luck and stay safe, friend.

Loved hearing about The Big Fisherman! We have a second home on the water in Rockport and we grew up eating at Klien’s Cafe, Corky’s, Duck Inn and later Big Fisherman. They had a tiger inside and snakes. Unfortunately, they all died in the fire😢. Then we went back after they rebuilt. You are correct on the cats!!!

Good Morning Buddy! Lots of really good info.👍 We started going to Big Fisherman in early 80s I believe. Back then I remember a tiger, monkeys, birds in cages actually inside the buildings. I would get the all you can eat fried oysters. Never eaten a fried oyster since🤣 Keeping an eye on the storm, hopefully it takes a left and misses you all. Stay safe buddy!

The one in Brownsville were near. Brownsville is about three hours away. Not too bad at all. Just keeping an eye on the predictions because honestly that's all they are is predictions.
That fried avocado did look awesome.🙂 Yeah watching Beryl like a hawk. I'm the same - if it is a tropical storm I'll just stay. Cat 1 I'll go to my folks house. Anything more I'll head inland. Probably go to George West. Our extended family has a ranch there.

Good ferry spot again. Poor turtles. You’d think at some point humans as a whole would realize how much damage we do.
Hopefully Beryl will fizzle out. Harvey was still pretty brutal here, it was kind of surprising how much so. Come to think of it, I still haven’t gotten the roof replaced. 😂
Big Fisherman was a great spot. They did have a lot of cats hanging around. You must have started going after their first fire. I think we started going sometime around 88-90 that I can remember.

If the forecast is still the same I'm going to head west at least one night. If there's a lot of damage here, I'll stay longer. They're calling for a surge that is insane and I don't really want to be here for that mess since we live on a peninsula.

Good morning friend. Thank you for taking the time to watch the video. I greatly appreciate it. My fourth was good. I parked in the shade around 2 PM and stay there until about 7 AM the next morning. Didn't deal with the fireworks or the crowd. Keep an eye on the weather. The storm has slowed down, but when it does that it usually gather strength. We shall see.
